“Erica was an absolute joy to work with from start to finish. She took all the info she needed about our favorite flowers, wanting to prioritize seasonal blooms, and style inspiration, and created absolute magic for us! We were initially planning on getting married outside and had to shift plans at the last minute because of an incoming Nor’easter. Erica was flexible and confident in her ability to make our new venue (our home) look as wonderful as possible. She delivered that and more, helping my husband with his pocket square and hanging out with our little dog who wanted to keep her company on the morning of. I can’t recommend Erica enough, I never felt pressured to go with more traditional or toned down flowers, she fully accepted and ran with our vision and brought it to life in ways I could have never imagined! She made a flower hairpiece for me, a pocket square for my husband, and collars for our dogs in addition to the classic bouquet and ceremony/reception flowers. Everything was amazing and lots of the flowers were grown in Erica’s own garden!”

“I hired Davis and Sawin for my wedding in September. My mother in law and I met with Inshaal early on in the process and we knew immediately that she was our florist. I am not a colorful person and much prefer more muted tones and monochromatic coloring. Inshaal never made me feel like I had to stray from that. She offered suggestions and presented me with many options. She asked me questions I hadn't thought of before (and absolutely should have). She tidied up all of my lose strings and made me feel like I had at least one aspect of the wedding totally handled and organized. “Molly and her team at Fleur are incredible. We found her through our wedding planner and we are so glad! Molly listened to what we wanted which was to see unusual flowers that aren’t normally part of wedding decor, lots of greenery, little to no white, and lots of eccentric, asymmetrical shapes. She used her creativity to translate our vision into reality. She suggested the addition of fruit and nuts to make the tables have the vibe of a renaissance still life, and utilized Fleur’s extensive stock of accessory items to create a beautiful floral arch, and intersperse mismatched vintage candelabras and tea lights (all flameless) throughout the venue. We got beautiful florals from Fleur, but really it was more than that - it was a whole artistic installation of natural, vintage, and vintage inspired decor. I wanted mismatched bridesmaid bouquets and something really unusual for my bridal bouquet, and Molly was happy to talk through my vision. The bridesmaids bouquets turned out gorgeously, and my bouquet was so cool! The groomsmen and family member’s corsages and boutonnières turned out fantastically. Molly was delightful to work with and flexible - she was not phased by a couple of changes we made in the last few months. The result Molly produced was absolutely stunning. We got many, many compliments at our wedding regarding the florals and decor. People were taking pictures of the flowers to reference them for their own future events. There were many moments where I just stopped to take in the beautiful florals around me. It made our wedding feel like a magical secret garden. “Finding a florist was so overwhelming and "minimum investments" were crazy! I decided to go with Poppy Flowers because the pricing was actually reasonable and there wasn't a minimum investment of like 5-8k like some other florists. We used Poppy Flowers for bridal and bridesmaids bouquets, bouts, corsages, 2 aisle flower clouds, and flower girl petals. The process was super easy and straight forward. It was nice to have one vendor be all online and straightforward when everything else was so complicated and convoluted in wedding planning. Everything went smoothly on the day of. The flowers magically appeared where they needed to be. That may be partly due to my planner but also Poppy showed up as expected where they were expected (as far as I know lol). And they looked great!! We supplemented the Poppy Flowers by buying local wholesale bulk flowers to fill 50 bud vases and my girlfriends and I also made several fake flower arrangements in the months leading up to the wedding too. Even though we hodge podged it all together it ended up looking nice together (IMO lol) and that's likely due to Poppy understanding what I wanted color and flower type wise. I also enjoyed the leftover flowers for a week or so after the wedding as they survived a while once i put them in new vases with water and flower food. (The pic of them all on a table are days after the wedding rearranged into vases)”

“We came to Julian on the recommendation of our photographer, as we were doing an elopement without guests, and we wanted funky, bold, and nontraditional vibes for our queer wedding. Despite being the first customers of the Althea A La Carte experience, we were impressed with how easy it was to choose which pieces we wanted. We ended up going with some smaller vases, hair pieces, and boutonnieres. Julian was also willing to use some mushroom propagation vases we found, and it was very easy to drop them off ahead of time. We felt like Julian perfectly understood our vision, and his touch made our wedding day so much more our own. Overall, we had a great time working with Julian, and would highly recommend them for any future events, large or small!”

“I fell in love with Lo’s florals after seeing her portfolio on social media and her website (so much so that I excitedly showed her Instagram to a dozen friends before we had even picked her) – I absolutely loved the unique sculptural look, bright colors, and creative use of different types of flowers. Based on what I had seen in her portfolio, I had high expectations for the florals for our wedding – and yet even then, I was absolutely blown away by the final product! Lo perfectly understood our vision and created an incredible palette of springtime/sunrise colors, just as we had hoped. They looked truly incredible when paired with the bridesmaids’ dresses and our decor. I genuinely got compliments all night long on the florals, and they have been one of the main things guests have brought up when recapping the wedding! I have had hands on experience from Floral Arts in Westford, MA and have completed over 75 weddings in my time as a floral designer.
