We found most of our vendors through the bridal showcase that Stokesay hosts, and everyone on their list of preferred vendors that we patronized were amazing as well. “I can’t say enough about this venue! We had a New Year’s Eve wedding 12-31-23 with 230 guests and it was exceptional. We used both the modern 11th floor Skyline Room for the ceremony and the gorgeous traditional ballroom on the main floor for the reception. We had a block of rooms for our guests and they raved about the accommodations and the service. The rooms were spacious and spotless. The bridal suite was huge and easily accommodated 8 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and 4 aestheticians. The food was amazing; prime rib, crab cakes and chicken francaise were our choices. It was delicious and served hot. They have a variety of entrees to choose from. The staff was attentive to our needs as well as professional and friendly. Pricing was very reasonable considering all the amenities included. I highly recommend The Americus Hotel for a wedding or any other function. Mother of the Groom”

Our traditional style venue accommodates up to 300 guests for a reception in the main event space, featuring a private bar, hardwood dance floor, dedicated space for a DJ or band, and an uncovered patio. West Side Ballroom is a spacious wedding venue that can accommodate up to 300 guests. We include tables and chairs. We have a bar area, kitchen, stage, bride's room, and groom's room for you to use during your wedding! We offer 3-day rentals for weddings. Our venue holds a lot of history! It used to be a place for people to go line-dancing, was a bowling alley, and a flea market. We kept the bowling alley floors to bring some history and charm to the Ballroom! We renovated and updated other aspects to bring it back to life! We offer decoration packages- we fully set up and style whatever decorations are rented- or you are welcome to bring your own to set up. You can do whatever you can envision with the space. We do not require specific caterers- our only requirement is that you use one of our pre-approved bartenders. Recommendations can be given for vendors you may be looking! “We are in AWE of RiverCrest!! I don't even know where to start with a review for them because they truly were perfect and above and beyond what we could have imagined. From the beginning, Michelle L. helped us on our wedding planning journey. She is extremely kind, honest, and talented. She helped us select all the major items (food, setup, etc) and all the way down to the little details (table linens, signs, etc). She always gave us her honest opinion and helped us make informed decisions for our wedding. It can be hard to navigate planning a wedding, but Michelle L. made is so seamless and truly effortless. We were able to do a food tasting and bring our parents. We were all blown away by not only the food, but the service. Everyone at RiverCrest is friendly and kind and that followed through on the wedding day as well. Leading up to the big day, Michelle L. was constantly in contact with us, making sure we had everything we needed. She does so much behind the scenes work and makes it look so effortless. On the wedding day, we were BLOWN AWAY with how organized and helpful the staff at RCGC was. They took care of us from the second we arrived to the second we left. From bringing us anything we needed in the bridal suite to setting everything up exactly as we wanted, they truly were a dream team. They were so seamless and organized when it came to the schedule throughout the day. We had no questions because they truly were ahead of everything. We worked with Angela later in the day and she was phenomenal!! She brought us food from our cocktail hour because we couldn't go and truly made sure we were taken care of the entire night. At the end of the night, the RCGC team had packed everything up for us and had it ready to load into our cars. They literally thought of EVERYTHING! Our guests still cannot stop talking about beautiful the day was and that is largely due to the RiverCrest staff. What an amazing team. We really can't thank them enough! “My husband and I had our Christmas-themed wedding at the Eden on December 10th of 2021, and I can’t sing the praises of the wedding coordinators, concierges, catering and janitorial staff enough. From start to finish we felt genuinely cared for by everyone in the resort...and I know how often they host weddings, but each and every person on the Eden team accommodated us in such a joyful way; as if we were the only wedding in the building. And it felt like they were sincerely happy for us. Which made the day feel really, really special. Madeline and Felicia, our wedding/day-of coordinators, attended to every last detail of the day, making sure that absolutely nothing was missed. They were present, intentional, flexible, and at times even borderline protective of me and my family. And that’s anything a bride could ever ask for. I couldn’t be more grateful. As far as the planning process goes: as a project manager, I very much appreciated the explicit, direct nature of their policies and procedures. After offering me several tours of the venue (MOB was from out of town and MOG wanted to see it on separate occasions) and answering all of my many many questions via phone and email, we had several formal meetings to comb through all the details and make sure we were on the same page. Maddie was able to help me delegate and manage my expectations, especially when it came to who was responsible for what, and even then bent over backwards to help me and my bridal party with day-of tasks. Thanks again to everyone on The Eden Resort & Suites staff. You were such a crucial part of our big day and we appreciate your hard work!”

Terri and her staff are phenomenal and pay so much attention to detail and ensure that your special day goes according to plan! Terri held our hand the entire planning process, leading up to the day, as well as the day of. Ensuring things were set up properly and checking in on us while getting ready. Brooke the wedding concierge was absolutely amazing as well. She was so supportive and helpful I’m so thankful she was with us the entire evening! She helped us with our couples portraits, grabbed us drink refills, and made sure we were having a good time! I also must say ALL the food we had was absolutely phenomenal. Every one of my guests that I spoke to were raving about the food! From the cocktail hour, to dinner, to dessert everyone was taken away by how good everything was. “My fiancé and I were looking for a rustic wedding venue, not a ballroom, preferably a venue with space to be outside (weather permitting). We visited a few options in the Philly area and fell in love with the John James Audubon Center! The space offers SO many options for an outdoor or indoor ceremony. They host receptions in the pavilion which is open with huge windows and firepits outside! The site is beautiful, and everyone we’ve worked with has been immensely helpful! After officially booking for our October 2024 wedding, we planned to visit with our parents. What was originally intended to be a quick stroll around the grounds turned into an impromptu tour with the venue manage. She answered all of our parents' questions and even brought out photo books of previous weddings for us to flip through together. With the wedding right around the corner now, we could not be more thrilled with our decision and can't wait to be there next month to celebrate our big day!”
