I secretly feared that my wedding would never live up to what I hoped but when we stepped into our ceremony and reception, our jaws were on the floor the whole time. We could not believe this was our wedding because ohhhh my godd. It's like Natalie knew exactly what we wanted without us even knowing it ourselves. The fact that she designed and planned this for us while based in a different city the whole time makes it all the more impressive to me. Last of all, I want to add how grateful I am that Natalie always made sure that both my husband and I felt equally included in decisions. Many vendors treat the bride as if she is the only one whose opinion matters and while maybe this is traditional in the industry, I could tell that he felt left out sometimes. Bailey met with us multiple times before the wedding to make sure she knew everything we wanted and knew everyone we were working with. She took all of our decor the day before the wedding, and with little to no direction, she made our vision come to life and had everything set up beautifully! During rehearsal, she made sure our wedding party knew exactly what to do, where to stand, and even let us practice our recessional multiple times to make sure we had it right. Angel acted as the special events coordinator, making sure our tech was on point (sound, picture, graphics, everything!) and she even made a reel for us to post on our socials. PU was up for the challenge of our 2-in-1 surprise wedding/film screening, and they rose to that challenge with much aplomb. For what we asked for, they could've up-charged us greatly. PU made us feel heard and seen throughout the process. We wanted our wedding to be a collaboration between BIPOC businesses and creators celebrating what we can achieve when we work together. ā€œWe first learned about Oso Events in the summer of 2022 while remotely planning our California wedding from the East Coast. From the very first introductory call, they blew us away with their professionalism, punctuality, warmth, organization, and excellence. Without them, our wedding would not have been nearly as amazing as it was! They found us fantastic vendors in the Bay Area like the food, HMUA, DJ, and server staffing company, organized our wedding day schedule, held regular video calls with us, got quotes from vendors, kept track of our budget and payment schedule with weekly updates, arranged set-up of the ceremony and reception venue, made sure our vendors got day-of tips, and more! The only thing that could be improved is that there was a specific deadline for event liability insurance that I and the planning team all missed initially. No harm was done though! The mistake was caught in time before it affected the event, and all went well! Michelle and Raymundo excellently identified what our energy levels as a newlywed couple would be like in the week leading up to the big event, and the day of the actual wedding. Raymundo directed our impromptu ceremony rehearsal, helping our officiant and party mark their places and signaling where/when we should stand and walk. Michelle checked in with the bride and the groom consistently throughout the night of the reception, asking if we needed water, food, or other drinks since we were often distracted by the festivities. They maintained effective communication leading up to and on the day of the wedding. Their decorations at the ceremony and reception were absolutely gorgeous and exactly what we wanted. At the end of the night, they managed takedown, and made sure all of the personal decorative items and remembrance photos we brought were conveniently all in the same box for us to take home. Through the yearlong process of planning, they dealt with last-minute logistical changes with incredible poise, and truly grounded us, allowing us to enjoy the day with free minds. The team even accommodated two of our guests who tested positive for COVID last-minute by setting up a separate table for them in the outdoor venue. We couldn't recommend them more highly. Not to mention, their BobaHolics boba bar was a huge hit and the photo booth was a lot of fun. We got a lot of mileage out of the sustainable decor inventory, which prevented us from having tons of wedding stuff on hand that we'd accumulate and need to resell after. The entire range of services offered by Oso is incredibly helpful and will make any event an absolute hit. We have loved working with the team and weā€™re so grateful they decided to take us on as clients at the start of their wedding planning journey.ā€

I was able to easily communicate my priorities on the special day and even share my wedding pet peeves to avoid. Christina was excellent at brainstorming ideas and suggested plenty of ways to approach a situation. When we worked on building the timeline together, she was very thorough and insightful. I sent her so many timeline revisions (as timing means EVERYTHING and it definitely matters), but Christina took them and made it look seamless. On the wedding day, Christina and her team (thank you Heather and Leanna!) made sure we were happy and stress-free. Our morning started with Heather running the errands of the busy morning and was the go-to person for myself and the wedding entourage. Heather was also able to help us create a floral bouquet we used for our ceremony offering. It turned out so beautiful! She did a terrific job. I was always reminded to take a bite of food and to stay hydrated while we were getting ready. Christina helped us execute the ribbon wand exit after our church ceremony. It turned out to be one of the highlights of the day. Everyone had so much fun doing it. As for the reception, Ingobo was able to help set the table decorations- centerpieces, candles, name cards, order of guests, etc. Leanna was at our side making sure we were well-fed and no one pulled us away from the sweetheart table. She was able to give us reminders of the timeline and was very sweet. Overall, Christina and her team orchestrated our wedding day perfectly. We received many compliments from our guests stating they noticed how smooth the day went. Ingobo's Day of Coordination services made a huge impact on how we were able to enjoy our special day. My husband and I are truly grateful for hiring them as part of our wedding team.ā€
