Sugarneck reaches back long before smartphones and social media, back to a time when the only way to send a message was by writing a letter and sending it in the mail. One of the earliest U.S. Post Offices in North Carolina still stands strong today. It was a community where people gathered, shared news and good times. Built in 1874, the renovated original Cabin structure serves as a unique visual reminder of those simpler times. The Cabin and the Post Office are on the National Register of Historic Places. Maywood Hall & Garden is a bright, open, and versatile indoor/outdoor venue that's entirely customizable, and can accommodate groups from 50 to 200 people inside. The Venue is 2700 sq ft of space featuring dimmable string lighting hung overheard, large windows with beautiful natural light, and a custom built mobile bar pouring the freshest beer in Raleigh. The Lawn adds 4500 sq ft of outdoor space perfect for your Wedding Ceremony or a friendly game of cornhole. Guests also have access to a small suite off the side of the venue which can be used as a bridal suite or private lounge. Couples and guests will love our three beautifully appointed parlors, dramatic staircase, wrap-around porch, spacious garden, and seven uniquely designed guest rooms — each with its own character. The venue can seat around 200 guests comfortably. The main space is a dream with beautiful white shiplap walls, gorgeous stained plank cathedral ceiling and lots of natural light. The main space is heated and cooled so you can be comfortable in any season. There is a covered porch that leads to a large flagstone patio with a white fireplace, this is a great space for rehearsal dinners or just an extension of the reception space. The bridal suite is in a separate building adjacent to the venue. Recently built in 2023, with nearly 800 sq feet you and your wedding party will have a comfortable space to enjoy the day. Finally, there is an open air chapel that can seat 200 guests comfortably. It has beautiful cathedral style windows in the front and back of the chapel and open arches on the sides. This chapel will make a great rain back up option for your wedding day or if you love it as much as we do, it can be a beautiful plan A option as well.

Trophy Brewing & Pizza can accommodate a variety of private events including engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, and wedding showers, suited for groups of 10-60 seated and up to 100 standing. This space isn't the best fit for weddings and receptions but our venue Maywood Hall & Garden just across town is a good alternative if you are searching for that! This is our original Trophy Brewing Company location that housed our first brewing program. After several years of continued growth we began renovations in 2019, adding more dining space to allow large groups to join us in their celebrations, expand the kitchen, and create the Foeder room to launch our wild and sour beer program.

The Jiddi Space & Courtyard, part of Raleigh's Helig-Levine Complex, comprises four historic buildings dating back to the late 1800s. Originally a furniture and dry goods store, the space evolved into a stockroom for Heilig-Levine Furniture Store. Restored by Empire Properties in 2005, it now serves as an event venue managed by neighboring restaurants Sitti and Gravy. Hosting parties, weddings, and events, it retains its historic charm with market lights and a rich heritage spanning nearly 150 years.

The restored Historic Melrose Knitting Mill is a three-story brick mill, nestled in downtown Raleigh. The venue boasts exposed bricks, rough cut beams and twenty-four arched windows, providing an abundance of natural light. After opening one of Downtown Raleigh’s most vibrant restaurants on the ground level, creative director Samad Hachby renovated the third-story space to accommodate the larger weddings, special events, and parties that his restaurant was being sought after to host.
