We truly couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue than The Springs in McKinney. From the day we toured the property until the very end of our wedding night, everything exceeded our expectations. One of the biggest reasons our day went so smoothly was our day-of coordinator, Alexandra. She was incredible—always one step ahead and thinking of details we never would have considered. One of our favorite touches was repurposing the greenery from our ceremony arch to decorate our sweetheart table. It completely transformed it and showed how much she cared about making our day special. After the ceremony, she had a drink waiting for each of us so we could take a moment together before joining cocktail hour. At the end of the night, the team packed us dinners and cake to take home, gathered all of our décor and personal items, and even helped load everything into our family's cars. Those thoughtful touches meant so much. The food exceeded our expectations, the bar staff kept drinks flowing with no lines for our 100 guests, and The Springs connected us with DJ Steven Carroll, who kept the dance floor packed all night. We felt completely taken care of from beginning to end and couldn't recommend The Springs McKinney more highly!

I first want to say I have worked at this venue a handful of times between both the lodge and the ranch and have had a great experience each time. We've had issues with storage for some vendors and the staff was able to get it handled and assist us pretty quickly. I've loved coordinating at this venue because everything is set up and the staff helps right away the day of. Security is very pleasant to work with as well and they go above and beyond at night. I believe a lot of their services are done in house now and the times I have met their DJ and catering, they're professional. The morning staff does a great job at making sure we know who they are and they check on us throughout. Just want to post this review because reviews from vendors are rare and if you are a bride planning on booking here, as a vendor, they are truly great to work with!

We had a traditional Nigerian ceremony and our vow exchange on the same day…essentially 2 ceremonies which involved many moving parts and a busy day of schedule. It was absolutely the best day, the entire staff was very helpful and tended to every single detail. The meetings leading up to the wedding were very thorough which made it very easy to enjoy our wedding without any hassle. The wedding package made planning so easy, the venue was beautiful, and most importantly we had the most amazing time! Thank you so much Melissa for pulling everything together and Mariah for handling all the day off matters!

We hosted our son’s rehearsal dinner at Sunago Bell and could not have asked for a better experience. The team—Kamryn, Rachel, Jessie, and Bobbie—were exceptional from start to finish. The space itself has a beautiful industrial vibe, and the views of Denton are incredible. The communication was excellent throughout the entire planning process and the entire team was incredibly accommodating with our setup needs. Everything was handled seamlessly and with care. What stood out most was how much they genuinely cared—they listened, adapted, and went above and beyond to support our vision. The entire evening exceeded our expectations, and we are so grateful for the role they played in making it unforgettable. Highly recommend Sunago Bell without reservation.

Our wedding was truly the most magical day! Barnett Estates was one of the first and only venues we toured because we absolutely fell in love. Weddings can be extremely expensive and we were worried about finding a beautiful venue that was in our budget. For the price point you get access to SO many different decorations that most venues don’t offer. Not to mention that the venue itself is stunning. After booking with them a lot of the stress is immediately taken away as they help you through every step of the way and are quick to respond if you reach out with any questions or concerns. We ended up booking with a lot of the vendors that they recommended and I’m so happy we did! The DJ was AMAZINGLY upbeat and kept the party going all night. The food they offered was delicious and we received so many compliments on it! The cake that we got through their bakery was delicious and they were super accommodating to allergies by offering a gluten free cake as well. The sparklers and fireworks we got for our grand entrance made us feel like we were in a fairy tale. The photographer they recommended didn’t miss a single moment and the photos ended up turning out beautiful. The day of the wedding we did have a small hiccup that caused our grand entrance time to be delayed but they were quick to get it sorted with minimal disruption. The rest of the day went off without a hitch and everything came together perfectly. Weeks later we still have friends and family telling us how it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and a lot of that is thanks to Barnett Estates. Overall we could not recommend Barnett Estates enough. Thank you for giving us the wedding of our dreams!

We got married a little over a week ago at the Wildwood Inn, and I cannot say enough about how obsessed I am with the venue and about how wonderful everyone was throughout the entire process. The Wildwood Inn was the first venue I looked at when planning our wedding, and it was the last because, frankly, I couldn’t imagine a more perfect place to celebrate. The ability to stay in the 14 guest rooms was a highlight for us, as most of our guests were from out of town, and on top of being a nice gesture to some of those guests, it also allowed us the opportunity to visit with them further after the wedding without having to move to a bar for an after-party. The ceremony space is perfect for anyone having a smaller, more intimate wedding (we had just under 60 guests), and the pergola and string lights lent it an ethereal feel for our evening ceremony. We haven’t gotten our pictures yet, but since we forgot to make an unplugged ceremony announcement (oops!), we have some photos from guests that tell me our professional pictures are going to be beautiful on this backdrop. The reception took place in the dining area, and we opted to keep the bar out on the patio, which allowed us enough space to keep the dance floor inside (rather than moving it to the patio, which was the alternative option for larger parties). With six round tables (seating 10 each) , the dance floor was big enough to fit everyone who wanted to boogie but not so big that you felt like you were dancing in the open! Our coordinator, Madison, kept everyone to task, helped to fix my bustle when I kept tripping, and made sure we didn’t miss out on any of the food (she pre-packed some desserts and left them in our room). She also made sure a guest could get a last-minute lactose-free meal, made sure we got our custom drink glasses on our table, and helped with numerous other requests! The planning process was a breeze (especially compared to what many other brides seem to experience)! Kaleigh, our planner, was great to work with and answered all of my spur-of-the-moment questions promptly. My initial concern in picking an all-inclusive venue was that I had less control over each individual element. And it’s true that I probably spoke for 45 minutes cumulatively with the floral team, 20 minutes with the photographer, 10 minutes with the DJ, and only sent over info pictures for the cake. Even with Kaleigh, I probably had a total of three hours of face-to-face time. HOWEVER, each of those meetings was purpose-driven and structured to get the answers they needed without wasting your time, and I was so incredibly excited to see how wonderfully my vision came together on the day of…the florals, food, decor, music, EVERYTHING was perfect. If I have one critique, it’s that we weren’t able to get into the venue until 3:00pm for our 5:00 ceremony and so getting ready & doing our first look felt a little rushed. That said, if you’re looking, like I was, for a low-stress wedding and a beautiful place to have it, Wildwood Inn is your place!!

Knotting Hill Place
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Little Elm, TX
  • Up to 300 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor

Knotting Hill Place has the perfect indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces. So many couples love the idea of a beautiful outdoor wedding but what happens if the Texas weather does not cooperate? At KHP we have a 10000 sq. ft. synthetic grass event lawn for the outdoor events and a 300 person dome ceiling cathedral if you would like to move indoors to say I do. Our venue was perfectly designed for weddings. It is all about flow and the guest being able to move from space to space easily and be served quickly so that they all may enjoy their special night. Our bride and grooms suites are the best in Texas. They are large and designed with bridal parties in mind. Complete with a TV screen that can watch the cameras of the rest of the venue, private lockers for the bridesmaids personal items, great lighting and salon style chairs and so on. Let's not forget both bridal and grooms suite have built in blue tooth!

Why you'll love this venue

  • Raw space for complete customization
  • Dressing room available
  • Provides a dedicated team on-site

Venue considerations

  • Requires outside catering services
  • Does not allow pets
  • Venue feels large for events with small guest lists
Knotting Hill Place was truly our dream wedding venue. Timeless, elegant, and absolutely magical, it exceeded our expectations in every way and provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding day. For years before getting engaged, I had driven past Knotting Hill Place and wondered if it was as grand and stunning on the inside as it appeared from the outside. The moment we stepped inside for our tour, all doubts disappeared. Every corner of the venue is intentionally and thoughtfully designed, making it breathtaking both in person and in photos. It is stunning yet warm and inviting, with a timeless elegance that feels like a French château fit for a princess. Even our very first tour, which took place in pouring rain, felt incredibly magical. One of the things we loved most is how much the venue includes and how beautiful it is on its own. While there are wonderful additional rental options, the space truly doesn’t need much to feel complete. Having a stunning indoor setting was especially important to my husband and me, as we wanted both our ceremony and reception indoors due to unpredictable Texas weather. Every time we returned to the venue, it felt just as special and awe-inspiring as the first visit. The bridal suites are incredible. They are spacious, luxurious, and comfortable, making them the perfect place to spend the day getting ready with my bridesmaids while feeling relaxed and pampered. Knotting Hill Place also hosts seasonal vendor events for couples, which we attended multiple times before our wedding. These events were such a gift during the planning process, allowing us to see the space styled in different ways, explore vendor options, and watch our vision slowly come to life. The entire Knotting Hill Place team was warm, welcoming, and supportive throughout the planning process. They were always responsive, helpful, and available to offer guidance. We also chose to work with the venue’s month-of coordinator, which was one of the best decisions we made. Our coordinator, Megan, was absolutely amazing. She took so much stress off our shoulders in the final month and ensured everything ran smoothly on the wedding day. Thanks to her, we were able to truly relax and enjoy every moment. We also highly recommend some of the venue’s add-ons, especially the custom dance floor, which tied our reception space together and made it feel so personal. The bubble machine was another standout. It added a fun, unique, and magical touch to our first dance and kept the dance floor lively throughout the night. Our guests absolutely loved it. Knotting Hill Place gave us the wedding day of our dreams, and we are so grateful for the memories we made there. We couldn’t recommend this venue more highly.

We recently hosted a private gathering at Three Empires Brewery and had a fantastic experience. The taproom is light-filled with high ceilings and an open, industrial-chic layout, and it feels comfortable yet spacious. The family owners and staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, creating a warm, laid-back atmosphere. Their craft beer selection is excellent – eight rotating taps of house-brewed beer plus they offer wine and frozen wine-ritas which were a big hit with our guests. The venue offers flexibility for food as they allow you to bring outside catering. Overall, we highly recommend Three Empires Brewery for any small celebration or corporate event – it’s unique, convenient, and memorable.

My wife and I were married at The Milestone Denton on August 31, 2024, and if our wedding had a catch phrase, it would have been this: "Don't worry, we have Melissa!" From the very first day, all of our concerns and worries were relieved by Melissa's expertise, professionalism, and attention to detail. Not one stone was left unturned, and even things that we hadn't thought to consider were covered by Melissa and her team. We could not have imagined having our most special day at any other venue - the Milestone is beautiful, secluded from the hustle of downtown Denton and 380, and we felt like royalty as the guests of honor on our wedding day. Overall, we would absolutely choose Ashton Gardens Corinth again. We had a wonderful experience with the venue and Walter’s Wedding Estates overall, and I’m sharing this review in hopes it helps future couples researching venues. First, our wedding planner and coordinator, Becca, was incredible. She is extremely organized, a great communicator, and such a kind person. Our day would not have been the same without her. She kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes, checked in on us throughout the day, and truly made us feel supported and cared for. Venue: The beauty of Ashton Gardens is truly unmatched. The chapel is breathtaking, and I will never forget the moment the doors opened for me to walk down the aisle. The bridal suite was exactly what I hoped for and comfortably fit me, my seven bridesmaids, both moms, and our hair and makeup artists without feeling crowded. The groom’s suite is smaller, so the groom and his groomsmen chose to get ready off-site, which worked fine for them. One thing we loved is that the reception space is just a short walk from the chapel, making the transition to cocktail hour and the reception very easy for guests. The reception hall is spacious and offers a lot of flexibility for floor plans. We had 142 guests, plus a rented dance floor and dueling piano players, and the space felt perfect. One thing we wish we had known before booking is that the “included” rehearsal hour is only offered Monday–Thursday. Rehearsals outside those days require an additional fee. Food & Drinks: We chose the exceptional catering and bar package through Walter’s. Unfortunately, the food ended up being our least favorite part of the wedding, which is the only reason we are giving a four-star review instead of five. Several guests mentioned their meals were cold or dry, and we later learned the last table served received noticeably smaller portions, which was disappointing given that our final guest count was submitted well in advance. However, the team did a great job accommodating guests with dietary restrictions. Along these lines, we were disappointed that there was no opportunity to have an actual tasting to choose our menu, so we chose a chicken and steak duet as a safe choice. We did attend a Walter’s showcase, but they only had pork, fish, or chicken to try that night. Since we had fewer than 150 guests, we paid to have both bars open, which we highly recommend to avoid long lines. Guests had great things to say about the bartending services, and the signature drinks were fantastic. Vendor Package: The vendor package was a huge benefit. Not having to worry about rentals like linens, plates, glassware, and tables saved us a lot of time and stress. The vendors we worked with through the package were professional, communicative, and wonderful to work with.

About wedding venues in Whitesboro, TX

Why Is Texas an Exceptional Wedding Destination?

Texas offers an incredible variety of wedding settings across its diverse landscapes. You'll find everything from romantic Hill Country vineyards to stunning Gulf Coast waterfronts that provide perfect backdrops for your special day. The state is home to countless venues that showcase authentic Texas character while still matching your personal style. Think rustic barns where longhorn cattle graze nearby or sophisticated urban venues with dramatic city skyline views that'll impress your guests. Many Texas venues incorporate unique regional touches you won't find elsewhere; live country music that gets everyone dancing, mouthwatering BBQ stations and custom boot favors that celebrate local heritage. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, you'll find Texas venues ready to accommodate your vision.

What's the Average Cost of Wedding Venues in Texas?

Wedding venues in Texas typically cost between $3,000 and $30,000+ depending on what you're looking for. The national average runs about $6,500-$12,000 which represents roughly 25% of your total wedding budget. Your overall wedding costs will depend largely on how many people you're inviting to share your special day:

Guest CountAverage Total Wedding Budget
50 guests$19,410
100 guests$32,365
150 guests$44,545
200 guests$55,433
250 guests$66,322
300 guests$77,211
In Texas specifically, venues typically account for about 16% of your total wedding budget with couples spending an average of $6,932. This gives you plenty of room in your budget to customize other elements of your celebration that matter most to you and your partner.

Which Wedding Venue Types Are Most Popular in Texas?

Texas venues offer distinctly regional experiences that capture the state's diverse character. Hill Country locations around Fredericksburg give you gorgeous vineyard settings with beautiful limestone architecture and sunset views that will take your breath away. If you're considering Houston, you'll find venues that thoughtfully incorporate bayou landscapes alongside sophisticated cosmopolitan amenities. Dallas spaces tend to showcase luxury urban environments with elegant design elements that create a refined atmosphere. Fort Worth venues perfectly blend Western heritage with modern conveniences for a uniquely Texan experience. November emerges as the most popular month for venue inquiries across the state, so you might want to plan accordingly if you're interested in this popular time frame.

How Far in Advance Should You Book Your Texas Venue?

Texas couples typically book their wedding venues about 16 months (or 457 days) before their wedding date. November stands out as the most popular month for venue inquiries so planning early is essential if you're considering this timeframe. This advanced booking timeline helps you secure your preferred date since popular venues often fill their calendars far in advance especially for prime weekend dates. Booking early also allows you to lock in current pricing before annual increases that many venues implement. Plus you'll have more time to work with venue coordinators to customize floor plans and discuss details that will make your celebration uniquely yours.

Where Can You Find Accessible Wedding Venues in Texas?

Madera Estates in Conroe stands out for its commitment to accessibility with fully paved event spaces that accommodate wheelchair navigation throughout the property. You can host up to 330 guests here and the venue is frequently praised for physically walking through accessibility needs during the planning process. You'll also find excellent accessible options at Jennings Trace near Houston which offers single-level celebration spaces. Hummingbird Hill Weddings in Chappell Hill prioritizes inclusive design throughout their venue and The Preserve at Canyon Lake features wheelchair-friendly pathways connecting all major celebration areas. These venues ensure all your guests can fully participate in your special day regardless of mobility considerations.

Which Texas Wedding Venues Offer Outstanding Culinary Experiences?

The Bell Tower on 34th in Houston delivers exceptional dining experiences under Executive Chef Sergio Arellano. His international culinary team creates gourmet meals on-site that will impress even your most food-savvy guests. Food-focused couples should also consider Steiner Ranch Steakhouse in Austin where you'll enjoy spectacular views alongside premium cuts of Texas beef. Cisco's Salsa Company near Tomball has built a reputation for their award-winning Mexican cuisine that adds authentic flavors to your celebration. Avenida Brazil Churrascaria Steakhouse in the Houston area offers a unique Brazilian steakhouse experience with tableside carving and a festival atmosphere your guests will remember long after the wedding day.

How Can Texas Venues Support Remote Wedding Participation?

For couples wanting to include loved ones who can't attend in person, several Texas venues now offer more than just basic streaming services. Venues like Agave Estates Mara Villa and The Middleton Venue in Katy specialize in creating interactive remote experiences that make distant guests feel truly present. You can work with these venues to design custom interactive elements that go beyond passive viewing. Think virtual guest books where remote attendees can leave video messages remote toasts synchronized with in-person celebrations and even coordinated dance moments. These thoughtful touches ensure everyone feels included in your celebration regardless of where they're located.

What Wedding Expenses Should You Budget for in Texas?

Beyond your venue there are several other key expenses to consider when planning a Texas wedding. For a typical 150-guest celebration your budget will likely break down this way: - Florists: $6,755 (15%) - Venue: $6,932 (16%) - Catering: $5,546 (12%) - Bar services: $4,437 (10%) - Photographers: $3,966 (9%) - Videographers: $3,555 (8%) - Planners: $3,768 (8%) - Bands & DJs: $1,299 (3%) - Cakes & desserts: $853 (2%) - Hair & makeup: $495 (1%)
