Range Floral Design
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
  • Starts at $1,500
  • Serves Wheeler, OR

My journey into floral design began in 2019, rooted in a lifelong love of creativity, beauty, and thoughtful design. With a background in graphic design and years spent creating with my hands, flowers became a natural extension of my artistic expression. What started as a passion quickly grew into something more meaningful—a way to tell stories through florals. Each arrangement became an opportunity to blend texture, color, and movement in a way that feels both elevated and effortless.

“The flowers for the memorial service were beautiful and thoughtfully arranged. Laurie did a great job of interpreting my vision with the little bit of info I could give her. Her kindness showed through every detail and even more so as she took my little bit of instruction and made things extremely beautiful. She was reliable, with a big heart and easy to work with during a difficult time. Everything was delivered on time and handled seamlessly and reasonable priced. I am very grateful and would highly recommend!”

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (102 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Wheeler, OR

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Would highly recommend Flower Moxie! Mother of the bride who can’t keep her houseplants alive decided to take a risk with DIY bridal and bridesmaid bouquets. Could not have been happier. Flowers arrived right on time. I contacted Flower Moxie right away with a question on timing for unboxing. Alexa immediately responded and became our personal flower consultant for the next 4 days. She was professional and encouraging and FUN! I felt much more confident that we could create beautiful bouquets with her assistance. The educational videos on the website are so helpful and informative. I alerted her that just three of my stems arrived broken. Flower Moxie immediately posted a refund to my account so that I could replace those stems if I felt it necessary at a local store. I cannot say enough good things about the whole experience. The bridesmaids and bride created their own bouquets the morning of the venue during hair and makeup. Was really fun for all of them and they were absolutely stunning! Don’t be afraid of DIY. If I could keep these alive and thriving - you can too! Flower Moxie (and Alexa) are great partners for your special day!!”

We quickly moved forward with a floral color palette and she offered helpful design advise, developing a floral arch on the buffet table which we used on the stage. The result was whimsical, romantic and created a lovely backdrop for our photos. My bouquet brought tears to my eyes, just the right touch of color to accent my ivory dress. “We hired Paula and Samantha pretty down to the wire of our wedding, but they immediately jumped in! We contacted them on Friday, and they had our proposal ready by Monday! Our flowers fit our vibe perfectly: I wanted something to pull from the venue's brick, but not look too "autumny" for our January wedding, and they nailed it! They look and feel like "regular" flowers, but they'll last forever and have so far held up perfectly! We're gifting a number of our pieces to our mothers and grandmothers as keepsakes from our amazing day, while saving the rest to display around our house! We're so happy to have such beautiful mementoes to remember it by!”

HI THERE, I’M KIRSTIE! When my hands aren’t full of flowers, you will most likely find me curled up on the couch with a good book + my cat, adventuring around the beautiful West Coast with my husband, or finding treasures at the thrift store. My passion for flowers began as a little girl. I would sit near our family garden & watch the butterflies land on every flower, fascinated with how much beauty each flower had. Years later, while working at my college’s greenhouse, my passion was sparked back to life & I fell in love with every aspect of working with flowers. Growing them, caring for them & designing with them.

“Kirstie with A Bloom Studio is amazing to work with! As a photographer who has been in business for 9 years, I can say that she is professional, creative, personable and easy to work with. She takes clients ideas and brings something to life that is absolutely amazing! We did an elopement together at Crate Lake National Park that was a busy and full day. She overdelivered and made sure everything went so smoothly from delivery to set-up, seeing the day through and being a support to the team. She is wonderful to work with, easy to communicate and on top of every aspect for floral creations!”
