“Gemma was great! From the very beginning, she was so easy to work with. She was very responsive and really listened to what we wanted. She listened to our concerns about getting some of our guests to dance and gave us a lot of great advice going into the wedding day, like adding dance floor props to get everyone engaged and adjusting our anniversary dance so everyone ends up on the dance floor. She worked with us and curated a great wedding playlist. Our guests complimented us on what a great DJ she was. Everyone loved seeing her behind the booth, dancing along with the guests. At one point, one of our guests dropped a glass and she played “Heart of Glass” right after, which was perfectly timed (lol). She really knew how to read the crowd and keep the energy up while still playing some of our silly requests. She curated a great mashup for the mother/son dance. My brother-in-law wanted to play a piece on a keyboard for part of his speech and Gemma worked with us in providing an amp so everyone could hear the piece. She even took videos during the ceremony and reception and shared them with me afterwards which is something I did not expect but was so grateful to have. I couldn’t recommend her enough!”

From the second those opening chords of “Hot To Go” hit, I genuinely felt like I had died and gone to heaven. The energy was unreal. “Kelton from Marquee Artists is awesome - he killed it dj-ing for the clients, the dance floor was non-stop going nuts the whole time! His demeanor is super low-key and easy going, and he was very easy to work with, which means a lot in this field. Weddings have lots of moving parts and can be chaotic, but having vendors that are kind and willing to work as a team makes the day go a whole lot smoother. The couple had lots of requests for songs in completely different genres, but he managed to keep the party going with no awkward pauses and seamless transitions.
