Our wedding day felt like pure magic, and it is truly thanks to the incredible team at this wedding venue. Our guests were in awe of the space, and we received so many compliments regarding the décor, drinks, food, photographer and overall experience. My husband and I put a lot of time and research into finding the right wedding venue for us, and we walked away from our wedding day with a feeling of pride for our selection, and gratitude for the support we received. We looked at venues across three states. It was a little overwhelming and emotional, knowing that the venue would dictate so much of our time as an engaged couple and ultimately, our one wedding day. Bakers Ranch immediately stood out to us, it was an all-inclusive wedding venue that would eliminate some stress of planning. It had a gorgeous green backdrop of ancient oaks and rich foliage. It had Jeremy, a wedding planner that was calm, reassuring, honest and unlike any wedding professional we had met in our search. We booked the first available Saturday the following year almost immediately. I was also an extremely detail-oriented bride, straight down to the plates, the handmade table cards, and a personal note for each attendee. But it was all perfect. The decor, the flowers, the cocktails, the food, the week before, the day before, the day of, were all a dream. Everything that I communicated was heard. The vision that I had planned for was achieved. It was even better than what we could have imagined. We are extremely grateful to Baker’s Ranch for their incredible work.

We recently held our wedding reception at Terraview and I honestly can’t say enough good things about the entire experience. From the very start, the Stroudsmoor team made us feel like we were in expert hands — they were professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our big day perfect. The space itself is absolutely stunning. Whether it was the beautiful décor, the lighting, or the thoughtful setup, everything came together seamlessly to create an atmosphere that was both elegant and welcoming. So many of our guests commented on how gorgeous the venue was! But what really stood out was the team behind the scenes. Linda Forte and the entire staff were incredible. They anticipated our needs, handled every little detail with care, and went above and beyond to make sure we didn’t have to worry about a thing. My husband and I were looking for a high value, reasonably-priced venue in the Brookly area and we found it in DEITY. We were immediately impressed by DEITY wedding packages. We were able to find a package that best fit our vision and budget. It’s really hard to imagine that we could have gotten a better deal for our money anywhere else, especially when you consider that the tax is already baked in upfront without any hidden surprises. DEITY is amazing, we couldn’t have picked a better venue for our small and intimate wedding. The whole staff was very friendly and very accommodating, Anna our event coordinator was always very helpful and guided us with any questions we had. The food was excellent, the table setup was perfect with the family style setting. The Chef was so hospitable, he stopped by to make sure we were pleased with the food. The bottom line is, on the day of our event, DEITY showed up and executed flawlessly, from the decor, to the food, to the event management. We have been getting non-stop compliments from our friends and family about how awesome the wedding was and how much fun they had. Sarah helped with questions before we signed the contract and was very knowledgeable. Melissa was monumental in ensuring our big day went smoothly. Mellissa exceeded our expectations. It is evident she enjoys her job and that she not only focuses on the big picture but also the little details. We used the vendors provided by Walters Weddings from the stationary, floral, bakery, photography, and videography. The cake was divine and was exactly what I wanted. Emily Chappell Productions and Alexis made our events memorable and captured us perfectly. We were lucky to have Alexis for our engagement photos, our wedding photos, and my bridal photos. I cannot thank Walters Wedding Estates, Sarah, Melissa, Alexis, and all of the vendors for making my dream wedding a reality. Not having to worry about finding vendors and having Melissa communicate with the catering team and bakery took the stress off. I highly recommend using Walters Weddings.

Words truly can not describe how incredible the team at Willowdale is, especially working with Allison. Planning a wedding is hard enough, but up until the week of my wedding, I didn’t even know if my dad would be able to make it due to chemo treatments. Allison showed us unrelenting kindness and compassion through this all, while ensuring we had a plan no matter what the end result was. Aside from how incredible Allison and her entire team were, the venue itself is gorgeous and to this day everyone is still raving about how good the food is. They say people get wedding regret and venue envy, seeing other weddings but if given the chance, we would choose Willowdale 100x over. Olio was the first (and only) wedding venue we toured. Immediately following our tour, my partner and I cancelled all tours/meetings with other venues - we knew that if we were going to have a wedding, it had to be at Olio. Sarah and the Olio team ALWAYS met us with genuine enthusiasm and kindness. All communications with Olio were authentic, seamless, and enjoyable. Since our family lives all over the country, Sarah and the team went out of their way to accommodate and ensure each of our family members could tour Olio when they were in town. Our wedding exceeded any and all expectations. It is impossible to articulate the beauty of this venue. All of our friends and family continue to rave about the space, story behind Olio, and the wonderful venue team. Olio is incredible without any decorations, but can be a blank canvas for people with big ideas. There is East End Peabody Veterans Memorial Park down the road that is perfect for photos, and a Granite Coast Brewing Company a few doors down for an afterparty. Food & drink: The dinner went above and beyond — even better than our tasting, which says a lot! Our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was. The family-style meal was a huge hit, offering everyone a chance to enjoy a range of entrées and portion sizes. Guests with dietary restrictions were also very well accommodated and impressed by the thoughtful service. Menu flexibility: The in-house catering made planning so much simpler, and we loved how customizable everything was — from entrées and salads to drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and late-night snacks. Venue aesthetics: The space itself is stunning and was a major reason we fell in love with Chicago Winery. It’s warm, modern, and beautifully transitions from ceremony to dinner to dancing. The team efficiently flipped the space during cocktail hour and even accommodated a larger band setup with ease. The all-season patio was another highlight — gorgeous and comfortable, with a great mix of seating and standing areas for guests to mingle. We can’t recommend Chicago Winery enough. I love working at Summit Farm. The staff makes the day smooth. Each couple receives a wedding coordinator that helps in all aspects of the wedding. Many times you will find the staff following around the photographer to make sure the bride’s dress stays pristine, if someone needs a drink or if they are they to just hold the bouquet. The staff are always making sure other vendors feel comfortable with everything going on. It is a wonderful experience.

They supported us from beginning to end and not only helped us make decisions when needed, they stood up for us when needed. It is so nice to have people who have your back during this process. We could not speak more highly of Kalila & Alyssa's professionalism, knowledge, and dedication. Our guests continue to rave about the food and drinks!!! People have told us it is the best wedding they have ever been to and the best wedding food they have ever had. Coming from many NJ & NY guests... that means a lot! Founded in 1814, The West Boylston Company was a large textile manufacturer in West Boylston, MA. At the turn of the century the company faced a crisis: the site of their mill would be flooded to form the Wachusett Reservoir. Instead of abandoning the mill, the company dismantled it brick by brick and shipped it to its new home in Easthampton, where it was rebuilt on the banks of the Lower Mill Pond. Now, a century later, The Boylston Rooms retains the integrity of the 1814 original mill in every brick and beam. Our rental includes planners and decor at no added cost. We had the most beautiful wedding at The Boylston Rooms. From the moment we first spoke with Erin and Myles we know this would be the venue we would choose. They saw our vision and really went above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect. We were thrilled to be able to utilize their massive library of decorations and supplies to avoid having to purchase a ton of decorative elements and we donated the things we did end up purchasing so that they didnt end up sitting in our house (or worse, a landfill!) Myles and Erin both made absolutely certain that we got to enjoy every moment, including our food, and that we got to spend a moment alone together right after the ceremony to celebrate. Alyssa was by my side all day as my biggest cheerleader. I'm an emotional person who doesn't love being the center of attention. She had the most reassuring presence and all kinds of tricks up her sleeve. I will never forget her helping me take deep breaths, holding a cold can of Diet Coke on my chest to help calm me down. The Boylston Rooms made our wedding day so special, and we can't recommend them highly enough. We probably could've had a beautiful wedding anywhere if we had been willing to dedicate our entire lives to it for the year prior or shell out thousands of dollars for a planner and coordinator. But at The Boylston Rooms we didnt have to do either. We had a gorgeous wedding and it was affordable but above all it was effortless. With their help? We would do it again in a heartbeat.

His energy, professionalism, and cocktails added so much to the experience — people are still talking about him! From the planning process to the final moments of the night, the entire team’s professionalism, care, and attention to detail were evident. The search for our perfect wedding venue ended at the beautiful and historic Oviatt penthouse. The moment my husband and I walked in, we knew it was the place we wanted to get married. Every single detail of this building is so intricate and breathtaking. Something that is so amazing about the Oviatt, is that the venue hardly needs any decorations. There is plenty of beauty everywhere you look. Gabe, Lindsey, and the rest of the team made us feel comfortable and taken care of throughout the entire wedding planning process. They were there to answer any and all of our questions via email and phone call if needed. They were flexible with us when we wanted to schedule walk-throughs with multiple vendors of ours. Wedding venue shopping is a lot on a couple. It takes time and energy and can be very stressful. However, when we say we found the perfect place we mean it. Donauschwaben’s was one of our venue choices coming highly recommended by our friends and family already. We reached out through their website and within no time we got an immediate response from the Christine, Event/ Wedding planner to set up a meeting together. She is not only extremely kind, but had everything organized so beautifully to choose from it was a no-brainer to choose this venue. She even recommended our DJ who had played a previous wedding there who was incredible. All communication leading up to our big day was efficient and layed out easily for us to understand. Our checks were deposited in a timely manner by the venue, our tasting was so nice and so delicious. The no pressure wedding planning was worth every penny spent. Our wedding day was so special and so beautiful from start to finish from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to our lovely reception to follow. Not only was Christine present the day of, but the staff was also on their A game all night long. Everyone was so incredibly friendly and kind, we felt like royalty. We both highly recommend this venue and if you do, definitely get the Schnitzel, Prost! The only recommendation to the venue would be to update their beverage packages to include seltzers such as High noons or White claws. Green Acres Event center was absolutely gorgeous! It caught our eyes online and we immediately wanted to see it in person! We went and toured, were greeted by friendly staff and showed around the property! From the beauty of the barn on the outside the the gorgeous detailing and sparkle from the chandeliers on the inside all the way to the stunning bridal suite, we knew when we walked through the doors this was our wedding venue! Robyn was absolutely amazing to work with from any questions I had while planning all the way through the day of. She made the day seem seamless and even helped me stay calm in the chaos! I would choose this venue over and over again! Our guests loved it and had wonderful time! The only complaint we heard is that they wished there was a bathroom on the second floor where the dinner and dancing was but other than that we had no complaints! Everyone should consider using this venue!

Got married at Simple Affair this June and everything was wonderful from start to finish! From the very first visit before securing the date, the staff was very informative and helpful. Maddy, our event coordinator, was so responsive and attentive to any and all questions we had throughout the planning process. The day of, the team that was working was very helpful as well and adjusted to even the smallest last minute changes we made to our timeline and the different adjustments we made to the flow of the reception. I could not recommend this venue enough! They have so many different options and can as involved and all inclusive or as hands off as you would like them to be, it’s really very personalizable and we couldn’t have picked a better option! Another great benefit is that if you are a DIY bride, they are so adaptable to your vision and can help assist in bringing your Pinterest board to life. The space of the venue really is so big it’s amazing how well you can decorate the space and still have room for a big dance floor. One specific thing we loved about this venue and a big reason we went with them was the possibility of bringing in your own food to better fit your vision. Having specific kinds of food was very important to us because we had a particular vision and we were able to achieve that here! Having our wedding at The Wheeler House made for such an amazing and stress-free day. We loved that The Wheeler House included a caterer, DJ, and cake—it truly felt like a one-stop shop. Having so many major vendors already included made the planning process much easier and far less overwhelming. They also provide a list of preferred vendors for photography, florals, makeup, and transportation, which made selecting the remaining vendors incredibly easy. I booked one of their preferred floral vendors, and it was such a great experience since they already knew the space, the layout, and what would look best for the overall design. We also booked one of their preferred transportation vendors, which was just as convenient because they were familiar with the property and logistics, making everything run effortlessly. The entire staff at The Wheeler House was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and consistently positive from the moment we booked through our wedding day. Having one location for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception kept the day flowing beautifully. We also loved having both indoor and outdoor options. We had a winter wedding, and while the southern weather allowed us to be outside, knowing we had a stunning indoor backup option gave us so much peace of mind during planning in case of rain or colder temperatures. We also booked The Wheeler House cottages for our wedding weekend, which made getting ready and overnight accommodations extremely convenient. Having our family and bridal party together all weekend made the experience even more special. While The Wheeler House may initially seem more expensive, we absolutely got our money’s worth. Because so much is included, we had fewer vendors to coordinate on our own, which saved us time, stress, and additional costs. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue in North Georgia that offers incredible value and includes so many essentials, I highly recommend The Wheeler House.

I chose ICC for my bridal shower venue because the venue is absolutely gorgeous! I loved the large venue spaces, beautiful landscapes through the windows, and overall airy feel! We ended up picking the Lyons room because it was spacious but not overwhelming. The natural lighting was gorgeous. Everything from the initial tour to the final product was gorgeous. All the staff members were incredibly kind and helpful throughout the process. Even when we came to set up the morning of, some wonderful team members were already helping to put favors on the table exactly where we wanted them (it’s like they read our minds!) The food was also absolutely delicious. We chose the chicken piccata and everyone was raving about it. Would 100% host another event here. Many of our guests were super impressed as well! Choosing the Red Barn for our wedding venue was the best decision we made!! The venue is absolutely gorgeous, the staff and on-site coordinators are absolutely incredible, and everything was so seamless from beginning to end, from the planning stages to the wedding day. Our venue coordinator Emily was a dream—she was so easy to work with and made the process a breeze: After we booked all our vendors ourselves and planned all our details, we met with Emily multiple times to talk about the day-of, and she was there on-site to make sure everything went smoothly (including setting up our decor, cuing the music and recessional/processional for our ceremony, keeping the timeline on track, and handling everything else that came up during the wedding day). Our day was absolutely perfect! She’s a superstar! For the venue itself, we can’t recommend it enough. The reception space is stunning, the foyer area for cocktail hour was perfect, and there’s a bridal suite for the bride/groom and bridal party. Staying at their sister property, the Stage House Inn gave us access to a shuttle service to and from the inn to the venue, which made the wedding day so easy (and the hotel is great!) We didn’t use the outdoor spaces as much because we got married in December, but we took some photos and the golf course and brick architecture were perfect backdrops. Overall, we really cannot recommend the Red Barn enough. From the absolutely amazing, friendly and welcoming staff (from the sales team to coordinators to catering and bar staff) to every single detail, we’re so happy with our wedding! If you’re considering booking the Red Barn, do it!

Their communication was efficient and responsive throughout the planning process, which helped make organizing a wedding much less stressful. The venue itself is versatile and beautiful, with an indoor space for the reception and ceremony as well as a lovely outdoor area overlooking the lake that was perfect for photos. The staff worked hard to make sure our vision came to life. For the quality of the venue and service, The Pavilion offers great overall value. How much do wedding & reception venues cost?

The cost of wedding venues varies, with factors influencing cost including size, location, guest count, and, most importantly, whether things like catering and rentals are included. The more a reception venue near you includes, the higher the cost. When considering venues, try to compare prices apples-to-apples. If one venue includes catering and rentals in their pricing and the other doesn’t, you need to figure out how much additional cost those outside vendors would be to make a true comparison. Before booking, be sure you’re aware of additional costs outlined in your contract, like parking fees and weather-related considerations (adding a tent, etc.).

What questions should we ask wedding venues?

When talking with a potential venue, always ask about 1) their availability and 2) their capacity. Some popular venues book up peak season Saturdays nearly 2 years in advance—if your first choice date isn’t available, consider your flexibility on day of the week and year. While maximum capacity is non-negotiable, venues might have guidance on what guest count will be most comfortable. Also, you’ll want to understand what is and is not included in the venue’s fees. Some include catering, tables and chairs, and linens, while others offer just the raw space.
