“I cannot recommend Rachel enough. After spending a significant amount of time identifying what style of photography we preferred, Rachel’s photography came out well ahead of everyone else’s. Working with her was just as exceptional. Throughout the process, Rachel provided guidance and was a valuable resource given her knowledge as someone who has participated in many weddings.
Our engagement shoot was the first proof that we had definitely chosen right. While we got lucky on the timing of the shoot (we nailed peak cherry blossom bloom), she truly transformed an average city park into an amazing setting. She was easy to get along with and took the stress out of the photoshoot process. She guided us through the park and through different poses seamlessly. When we got the photos back, far quicker than expected, we, and our families, were blown away by them. There was fantastic range too, from romantic to moody to playful.
On the wedding day, she kept us on task while blending into the background. She made sure we kept moving through our shot list and captured everything, but during the formalities I forgot she was even there. We worked with a videographer she was not familiar with, but they collaborated effectively sharing shot ideas with each other without stepping on the other’s toes. Rachel and her second photographer did an excellent job of catching the little moments that we wanted to see but weren’t always present for. As with the engagement shoot, the final results were amazing. We can’t stop looking at all of them, from the funny candids to formal shots that make us feel like we could be on the cover of a magazine!”
