Hey! I am an Icelandic-born wedding photographer in Brooklyn, NY. My focus is on vibrant images and sincere storytelling — creating images that take you back to how it felt in the moment! Based in Brooklyn, available throughout the US.

Throughout my career, I have documented a lot of weddings and events, everything from tiny little getaway elopements to grandiose ballroom weddings, and found that I am happiest when I capture authentic joyful moments. I studied photography at Parsons School of Design in New York City. I have a great understanding of both the technical and theoretical aspects of photography.

    Kari did the pictures for our wedding and he was amazing. He is extremely easy to work with, listens to your vision, and enhances that by 10000x. HIs work was amazing and he made us feel incredibly comfortable. You will not regret hiring Kari =)

    Great photographer

    Kari made our day! He was there for us throughout the entire planning process and captured our wedding day in the most unique manner. The prints we just received are stunning, I can’t wait to frame and hang them. We are just so incredibly grateful to have found him.

    Wedding Pictures

    Our wedding Pictures turned out absolutely beautiful! He did so many poses of us, bride & groom, not to mention most of the guests. He was so accommodating with the chaos of the pandemic and my crazy family members. I would recommend him for any occasion as he is friendly, detail oriented, and professional.

    Our perfect photographer

    We were thrilled to have Kari as our backyard wedding photographer after we had to postpone due to the pandemic and our photographer cancelled on us. We were really impressed with his portfolio when we booked him and he exceeded all of our expectations and delivered our pictures in just over a week. Kari was super responsive, we ran into a few issues right before and worked with our changed schedule without notice. Thanks again!

    AMAZING photographer
