Welcome! My name is Adam and I am a West Hartford, Connecticut-based wedding photographer available for weddings, engagements, and elopements in Connecticut and throughout New England. I am passionate about creating imagery that is candid, unobtrusive understated. I strive to incorporate nature and the outdoors into my work whenever possible.     Calm, friendly photographer

    Working with Adam Garelick Photography was such a smooth experience from start to finish. Adam kept us calm and on schedule throughout the day while making sure we got all the photos we wanted. His calm and friendly approach made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera, and he brought a fun energy that showed in every shot. The documentary style of his work captures the real moments and emotions of our wedding without feeling forced or overdone. His photos have a classic beauty that we know we'll treasure for years to come. We'd absolutely recommend Adam to any couple looking for a photographer who genuinely cares about their day.

A mix of documentary and photojournalistic. My wedding photography is inspired by the years I lived in New York, where I did a bunch of film-based street photography and street portraits. During that time, I captured the city and its people in candid, unscripted moments. I loved the honesty and authenticity of those images.
Yes. I am located in Connecticut but I photograph weddings throughout New England and New York.
Wedding Day coverage begins at $3,000. Engagement sessions, albums and prints, and post-wedding photoshoots are available as well.
Engagement sessions are a great opportunity for us to become acquainted before the wedding day in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. We can shoot at a beach, a park, a country house, the city, or anywhere that has special meaning to you. If you need specific suggestions, I am happy to help.
Yes. I carefully edit every image that I deliver to clients. But I do not allow post-processing to define the image. For me, the power of a photograph is its ability to evoke emotion long after the moment is captured. I do not want to get in the way of that possibility! For that reason, I shy away from over-processed imagery. Each couple always remains the focus.
I deliver a sneak peek within a couple days of the wedding, and the remainder of the collection within six to eight weeks (often sooner).
Once I complete the editing process, I send a link to an online gallery where you can view your wedding collection. The online gallery will be available for a minimum of 6 months, from which you and your guests can directly purchase prints and digital downloads. I also provide a USB drive with the full-sized images to you.
I am fully insured through The Hartford.
