I started photographing weddings in 2003 and eventually left my day job as a designer to do photography full-time, but I’ve never been able to turn the designer off. In addition to photos, I create a few animated gifs from every session. My style is influenced by design principles, architecture, Edward Hopper paintings, plus films by Stanley Kubrick & Denis Villeneuve. While composing I put as much attention into the scene as the subjects. I prefer to cover events solo and do my own editing, posting teasers the next day. I’m based in the Detroit area but cover weddings all over America.

We are a husband and wife team that recently just planned our own wedding on our 10 year anniversary so we know what it's like to plan a wedding! We have built quite the life together and our lives revolve around this business and our 2 pups, Pablo + Pedro. We love sushi, iced coffee, ultra-zero monsters, trying new pasta joints (ok, more so Ashley), Breaking Bad, and anything from Kid Cudi. I (Ashley) am the main point of contact for our couples and oversee the majority of the back end work while Austin shoots the weddings with me. It's so fun to be able to do this together!
