Responded to us within 5 hours. Kind caring working with us every moment from beginning to end This new elegant barn was the best choice after touring 8 nearby venues. LOCATION: It was so easy to get to, being close to Dulles International Airport and DC and very accessible via major highways. Our ceremony was held outside. It's a lovely, backlit site with the lake. The reception was held in the big white barn main floor with it’s spacious seating and dance floor. Cocktails were hosted indoors with reception being inside the spacious, high loft ceiling. It allowed for 200 seated guests and large dance party. The live band transformed the barn loft into a high energy concert space! There are a huge number of areas for creative images. One of the most popular photo spaces is the lake with their animals in the background with it's unique perspectives. Indoors or out, there are plenty of spaces for in-the-moment couples portraits as well as large group photos. FREE flowers was a real financial plus. They dont require a planner, a food caterer. But best was the personal care of staff to make sure all our needs met and more!

The View at Bluemont
Rating: 4.6 (9 reviews)
Bluemont, VA
  • Up to 300 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Outdoor & indoor
  • Starts at $30,000

The View at Bluemont is a romantic wedding venue surrounded by vineyards and wineries in Bluemont, Virginia. You can fall in love with the views of Loudoun Valley to Tysons Corner and the rest of Washington, DC. You and your nearest and dearest can relax, unwind, and more with professional staff, luxury services, and spacious settings that is not out of style.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Flexible event spaces
  • Offers a sense of luxury
  • Classic, vintage atmosphere

Venue considerations

  • Not for you if you are looking for something nontraditional
  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists
  • Dance floor not included
We got married in Spring 2025 at The View at Bluemont (TVB) and could not have been happier with our experience. Like most people we thought the pictures of the venue were beautiful, and it was even better in person. TVB was the first (and only) venue we visited in our venue shopping. We had our tour with Bryan and you immediately got the sense of someone with a lot of integrity but also professional and knew exactly what he was doing. He was open and transparent about the packages and pricing, and there weren’t any surprises or unexpected expenses. One of the nice things about TVB is its Bring Your Own Alcohol policy. For our wedding of 200 people, we probably saved about 4k-5k. From our brief experience looking at prices for other venues, TVB was competitive especially for the quality and how easy the planning process was. We only had to focus on the fun things like the DJ, tasting the food, and picking out the layout/colors. We were set up with Nicole as our wedding coordinator, and we feel like Nicole was made for this. Just amazing. In the weeks and months leading up to the wedding, friends would ask if we were starting to get stressed, and we’d look at each other and shrug, and say everything seemed to be going along smoothly. Nicole was working behind the scenes though with all our vendors and making sure they were on schedule and taken care of. My uncle - the officiant - had done hundreds of weddings and said Nicole was the most delightful person he’s ever worked with. Even when our breezy (I.e., windy) day knocked over our personal decor or we were having family shenanigans, Nicole (and her partner, Sam) were always level-headed, gracious, and kept the show moving along. At one point, she gave her earpiece to the groom so he could talk to the bride before we had our first look. It was a really fun moment. We could go on and on about how organized and detail-oriented she is, but there’s not enough room here. Just a genuinely amazing person, and we love her. A couple other points we loved about our experience: - We rented the lodge for two nights and the manor for the night of the wedding, and one of our favorite moments was hanging out in the groom’s suite with our bridal party after the wedding ended. - Dede and her catering team were awesome. Weeks after the wedding, co-workers were still commenting about how amazing everything tasted but also how knowledgeable every server and bartender was about the drinks and food (including the recipes and ingredients). Just a really professional and pleasant team. We were bust dancing all night, and Dede packed our cake so we could eat it for a midnight snack -The TVB team set out two plates of food for us in the groom’s suite so we could eat and have a private moment together after the ceremony (and during dinner). The chef also came out and spoke to our parents and welcomed them. There were a million other small gestures, courtesies, and accommodations by the staff from top to bottom. For this review, we really thought hard about whether we would have changed anything or had constructive feedback. But there wasn’t - we would’ve done it exactly the same way again. It is a high-quality, professional team and production with one of the most beautiful venues in Virginia. We’re eternally grateful to the team for making our experience so fun and memorable.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Rustic-chic setting
  • Both indoor and outdoor options
  • Has a dance floor for celebration

Venue considerations

  • Additional event staff required
  • Limited cleanup and setup services
  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists
We were married at Cloverdale Barn this past October and to say that it was the most perfect day would truly be an understatement!! We just received our pictures back this past week and were reminded again of our amazing day. The barn, field, views, stone walls, wooden doors, lights hanging everywhere all provided gorgeous backdrops for our photos. And yet, the place held the simple charm that we longed for, the reasonable price that we could afford, and indoor/outdoor space to cater a meal, play games, have the ceremony, and more! The venue was everything we truly hoped for but more than that, Claire was beyond helpful, attentive, caring, and treated us like we were the only couple getting married there...even though we know that’s not the case! Planning our entire wedding was simplified with Claire’s guidance and help. She was very professional and yet so helpful and accommodating to our needs. So, look no further...Cloverdale Barn is perfection. We won’t be getting married again!! ;) But if we ever need a venue for any other celebration or party, I know where I’m going to first! Thank you Cloverdale Barn for a wedding beyond our wildest dreams!

Showalter’s Orchard
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Timberville, VA
  • Select services
  • Outdoor & indoor
  • Starts at $5,300

Over the years, we've enjoyed sharing our farm with our friends and family for their uniquely beautiful weddings. Seeing our extraordinary aerie from their perspective reminded us to take in how special it is, and it inspired us to redesign and renovate a former greenhouse. We’ve created a belvedere of sorts with walls of windows that make a feature of our wondrous view of the Shenandoah Valley.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Has onsite accommodations
  • Surrounded by beautiful vineyards
  • Rustic-chic setting

Venue considerations

  • Does not provide event staff
  • No in-house lighting and sound packages available
  • Does not have a dance floor
Showalter’s was one of two venues on our short list, and we’re very glad we decided to go with them. We wanted a mountain view during the ceremony and the terrace was absolutely perfect. The greenhouse is gorgeous and looks amazing both in person and in photographs and was the perfect backdrop. We served cider and apple cider donuts and our guests loved both. It felt so unique and special! Working with everyone at the venue was incredibly easy, and they were so kind and welcoming to us and felt like they really wanted to make sure our day went well. We booked all of the AirBnBs on the property and would definitely recommend doing so. The “bridal” suite off of the Greenhouse was great for staging and getting a moment away during the wedding, having the extra space for actually getting ready was a very good choice (especially with larger wedding parties and lots of people doing hair and makeup). We also stayed in one of the AirBnBs the night before and afterwards, and being on the property was incredibly convenient as hotels in Harrisonburg are a bit of a hike. The AirBnBs were cute and worked great for our purposes! We stayed in one of the AirBnBs through to the Monday after our Saturday wedding which was great and made it so that we didn’t have to rush getting everything out the morning after the wedding. They need a 10-star rating! So, I was on TikTok looking for bridal shower places when I stumbled upon this beauty. So, I asked my fiancé at the time, if you know me then what you know about this place? He said, you like it because it has all those crystals and chandeliers! I instantly hit the contact us button. I began communicating with Pura who was very personable. I said OK let me go look at these reviews. I went on every page I knew that had reviews and they were 5-star no complaints. I said well let me book to go see it in person because pictures can be deceiving. We scheduled a tour of the event and when I tell you this place can't be touched with a 10 foot pole. I have not found a Venue yet that can TOP this one. From the time you walk in, to the ballrooms, the best dressing area and even the bathrooms are so clean you can eat off the food (not that you would but that's how clean and neat the place is). Pura thanks for all the phone messages day or night one thing for sure she was never too busy to get back with me. She was very accommodating. Farah the decor was gorgeous. Andrea thanks for pulling things together as the coordinator alongside Pura. Every time I visited; they made you feel welcomed. My family talked about the level of hospitality that you all provided at the rehearsal and wedding. They made sure all my vendors were in place to take the stress off of me on my wedding day. The overall service gives you royal and rich vibes.

As soon as we stepped into Rose Hill Manor we knew it would be the perfect venue for our wedding. We got so many compliments on how beautiful the space was. The ballroom was perfect for the reception and the outdoor patio was beautiful for the ceremony. Everything was exactly how we had imagined it. The planning process went smoothly because we utilized a lot of The Manors preferred vendors. All of our vendors were incredible and knew the space well which was a huge plus. Kristin our day of/month of planner with the venue did an excellent job answering all of the questions that came up and was very honest about how some things would work on the day which was much appreciated. Kristin also ensured that the day itself went very smoothly. Thank you so much for making our vision come true!

We had our wedding here last month, and we were blown away beyond expectations! Nicholas was our first point of contact, and within a day or so, we had our first phone call and he answered every question I had. He was so transparent from the very beginning and he also led our venue tour. As soon as we drove onto the property, we knew this was our venue. Nicholas stayed in contact with us throughout the next several months and was so prompt in his responses. We chose the gold package, and Alida was assigned as our coordinator. She was super helpful in the weeks leading up to the wedding, but we cannot get over how amazing she was on the day of. We had a mixup with an order for my signature drink (lychee martini) and received guava juice instead of lychee juice. My husband tried to arrange for someone else to bring it, but no luck due to time constraints. I was a bit bummed. Then, during our private dinner, Alida magically walks in with a lychee martini for me. I’m still not entirely sure how she arranged for it, but it was one of the best parts of our night. A few days later I find out that we actually forgot to bring the sparklers for our exit, but we had a sparkler exit at the wedding without a hitch… it turns out Alida had some extra and used those instead. There were little things throughout the day that *almost* went wrong, but Alida handled everything with such grace, found a solution, and somehow kept me calm through it all. We can’t thank her enough. The venue itself is stunning. Our guests had the best time and could not stop talking about the amazing food by Gala Cuisine. We were able to do a mixed Indian and American menu, which really set this venue aside for us! We loved every moment of our wedding and will think of it for years to come.

We used the Kimpton The Forum Hotel for our wedding weekend and it was a DREAM. By far the nicest accommodations available in the Charlottesville area, and pricing-wise, it beats competitors by a mile for a much nicer experience. From the minute we arrived for our wedding weekend, staff here made us feel seen and helped us with our every request. We were able to book a suite for bride and groom and getting ready, and Shannon helped us so much in securing our room block, extending it, and coordinating our stay. We also opted to have our wedding welcome party here, which was truly perfect. A huge thank you to Jake for the wonderful support provided in planning. The bar staff was so kind and soldiered through a very hot evening outside on the Camilia Promenade (which was a BEAUTIFUL venue) and choosing to host the welcome party at the hotel was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process. The food and drink were perfect. This was also a great spot for our guests, who could find something to eat at one of the restaurants when needed. We found ourselves gathered around the bar at night which was just such a lovely way to spend time together, and the accommodations themselves were so upscale and lovely. Valet staff was out of this world helpful, remembered our names, were friendly and kind...and our guests loved the happy hour in the evenings, too! I wish we could've stayed here even longer, it was truly so perfect and made us feel so special over our wedding weekend. Can't recommend enough!
