Taylor Friedman Photography
Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Serves Walnut Springs, TX

My name is Taylor & I am a photographer based out of Waco, Texas - but traveling all over! My favorite thing about couples and wedding photography is getting to capture people in their element, saving those small moments forever. My approach to photographing couples is to capture genuine interactions and connection.

Taylor is an extremely talented photographer. She is very easy going and makes you feel comfortable to be around. I would randomly send her ideas, my inspiration and photos I loved through my planning process and she nailed those on our wedding day. I wanted our wedding to be romantic, dark and moody and the photos she captured were just that! She is a 10/10 in my book.

The photographer, Jonathan, and his assistant, were absolutely amazing. They arrived early, were flexible and really accommodating to our vision. They also really hustled! They took advantage of every spare moment they had to get additional photos, and kept us on schedule super tightly. They even carried around things like bottles of water for me (the bride) as we took lots of photos in the hot upper floor of the venue. Many guests also mentioned how beautifully the photos turned out. However, we did have an issue in which, due to an injury to the editor's hand, we did not receive our photos in the agreed-upon timeframe. Had we been informed of this delay ahead of time, we would not have had any issue just waiting a bit longer. The main concern was that we weren't alerted of this delay until after the initial deadline had passed. We did request a discount due to this, which they accommodated. And the photos did still turn out amazing!

You know when you meet someone and it feels like you've been friends forever? That's Heather for you! Heather is fun, kind, warm, and will be your ultimate hype girl! Aside from being an awesome human, Heather is a talented photographer. Don't know how to pose and feel super awkward in front of a camera like me? No worries, Heather's got you! She'll direct you on how to stand, how to put your hands, how your face should look, give you hot tips... all of it! She also has a sharp eye for beautiful landscapes. You're in good hands and will have cute photos, I promise. In addition to Heather, we were lucky enough to work with her videographer, Andrew, and another shooter from her team. The entire HCP team was so fun to work with you and will put you right at ease. I've gotten to do 3 shoots with Heather to date and am incredibly pleased with how our photos have come out. In fact, I haven't even gotten the final album for our wedding yet (just previews) and i'm STILL impressed! If you have the opportunity to work with this team, take it. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Jessie Schultz Photography
Rating: 5.0 (28 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,500
  • Serves Walnut Springs, TX

I’m Jessie & my husband is Dylan. We are a husband and wife duo serving Austin Texas and Beyond... We are high school sweethearts and have been together since we were 16 years old. We have three crazy kiddos and two golden doodle pups, named Kevin and Theodore. We are the crazy couple who is always dancing and having way too much fun wherever we go (just ask our friends; or better yet, you will probably become one!) We have to pinch ourselves on a daily basis, reminding us that this is real life and this is our job! We have the pleasure of capturing and telling people’s love story. Your story.

Awarded Best of Zola
If you’re reading this, stop what you’re doing and book Dylan and Jessie right now. I’m not kidding—don’t call anyone else, don’t compare prices, don’t waste another second scrolling. Just do yourself the favor. You will thank yourself for the rest of your life. From our very first conversation with them, we could feel their warmth, professionalism, and excitement. But nothing prepared us for how essential they would become on our wedding day. Jessie is a superhuman. She is the rare combination of photographer, coordinator, timekeeper, problem-solver, and emotional support system all in one. She kept the day moving with absolute precision while making sure we never felt rushed. She stepped in exactly when needed—fixing timelines, adjusting details, giving direction, soothing nerves, and grounding chaos. She saw every small thing before we even realized it needed attention. Our wedding day would not have run the way it did without her. Full stop. And Dylan? Pure magic. His calm presence balanced the energy of the day perfectly. His eye for composition and emotion is unreal. He captures beauty quietly and effortlessly—with no pressure, no posing that feels forced, no awkwardness. Just authenticity. Together, they are the definition of a dream team. And THE PHOTOS… I’m tearing up writing this because they captured everything. Not just the big moments you expect, but: • the tiny glances no one else noticed • the chaotic, funny, ridiculous moments that made the day ours • the emotional in-between moments that we didn’t even realize were happening • the details we worked so hard on • the spontaneous ideas we threw at them • the last-minute changes they just rolled with • the JOY, the movement, the energy, the love They followed every wild whim we had. We’d say, “Can we try this?” and they were already three steps ahead, making it better than we imagined. Their creativity, patience, and intuition shaped the flow of our entire day. But here is what makes them once-in-a-lifetime: They put their hearts into this. You can feel it. They cared deeply—about us, about our experience, about our families, about our memories. By the end of the night, they felt like people we had known forever. We didn’t just get photographers—we gained two lifelong friends. Hiring Dylan and Jessie was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Truly. They gave us a gallery we will cherish for the rest of our lives and the kind of support you could never put a price on. If Google would let me, I’d give them 500 stars. Actually, I’d give them the whole galaxy. Book them now. Don’t hesitate. Don’t think twice. They are the best of the best.

Our small team of award-winning photographers and videographers celebrate the candid, authentic beauty of your day. Because when you look back on your album you should remember the fun, easy, imperfect, personal moments that make you, you -- not how long you had to pose.

We couldn’t recommend Double Knot more! Finding a wedding photographer/videographer is definitely a daunting and overwhelming task, as you want your special day to be captured perfectly. Double Knot was able to just that - the content was everything we were hoping for and more! Amy, our photographer, and the team on our day were SO kind, made sure everyone felt at ease and had such great attention to detail. Tyler Gets Weird

After getting out of the Marine Corps and photographing weddings for a larger "big box" company, I decided I wanted my own brand that really connects and cares about the couples I work with. And here we are 4 years later. I am a very "unprofessional professional". I love to have a good time and I embrace weirdness (will do your wedding for free if you're wearing all denim) but at the same time I also am very Type A; I love a good spreadsheet, I'm punctual, logistically minded, extremely detail oriented, and I will always advocate and/or problem solve for my couples on wedding day.

Awarded Best of Zola
Well I think I’ve watched my wedding video about 50 times the day I received it. Tyler is blessed with a natural ability to capture the most beautiful and authentic version of you on your special day. If we had to share one thing about Tyler, it's that he goes above and beyond. His attitude was amazing all day, and he was so incredibly attentive to our needs. I’m an awkward person, but Tyler makes you feel like you’re just another one of his friends, which helped me to relax and for him to capture amazing portraits. Before the wedding day, I also felt like he was one of our only vendors that truly took the time to assess our vision. He spent plenty of time making sure I was confident we would have THE pictures ;). 2 words: HIRE HIM!

Photography truly has a full grip on my soul– I love EVERYTHING about capturing special moments to be forever held in time! I consider my style to be way more candid, as I truly adore capturing an authentic experience that is almost tangible to the person viewing the photo. I want the viewer to feel the emotion and as if they were there with us right back in that moment. I love realness of a perfect candid shot…my goal—especially with couples—is to get to the heart of their connection and connect with my couples, as well, to truly make them feel comfortable in front of the lens so that we can get to those authentic magic shots!

Awarded Best of Zola
We had the pleasure of working with MoonTide Media for our wedding photography/videography. Shannon and Ally were an absolute joy to work with from start to finish. Their communication throughout the planning process was fantastic - they consistently kept us updated on travel plans and made sure we were all on the same page regarding the photography timeline. Most importantly, the quality of their work is stunning. We recently received a preview of some of our photos and were brought to tears by the beautiful images capturing our special day. Shannon and Ally have a true talent for capturing emotional moments without ever getting in the way. They were the hardest working team at our venue, going above and beyond to get every possible shot we could have imagined. We felt so comfortable with them that they even grabbed some extra candids of our wedding party that we had asked for with no issues. If you're looking for amazing photographers/videographers who produce breathtaking images while also making you feel at ease and comfortable on your wedding day, look no further than MoonTide Media.

He was incredibly intentional and truly listened to the shots and edits we wanted, which made the final video feel so personal and meaningful. Hereafter Films was one of the first vendors we booked early on in the wedding planning process, and we are sooooooo glad we did! Ryan and Sharayah were amazing to work with, along with their entire team. They photographed both our engagement session and our wedding day, and honestly, both sets of photos came out better than we could have imagined! Photography was one of the most important parts of our wedding. We really wanted our day to be captured in a way that felt authentic, emotional, and true to who we are, and Hereafter ABSOLUTELY nailed it! We looked at a lot of photographers, but the second we saw their portfolio, we were sold. Their style immediately stood out, and the fact that they shoot 35mm film was huge for us. The Super 8 option was such a fun bonus and made us even more excited about working with them. Their work feels timeless, intentional, and full of real emotion. On the wedding day itself, it felt incredible knowing we didn’t have to worry about a single thing when it came to photography and video. We trusted their creative process 1000%, and they truly made the entire day feel effortless. They handled our family and friends with so much patience, care, and ease, and so many people kept telling us how wonderful they were. Looking through our photos now instantly brings us right back to how the day felt, which is something we’ll always be grateful for. Beyond their obvious talent and artistry, Ryan and Sharayah are just genuinely awesome, laid-back, fun people to be around, and their calm, cool energy made such a difference. We feel incredibly lucky to have had them capture one of the most important days of our lives. 1000000% recommend booking Hereafter Films!

Smallwood Photography

Hello! My name is Hannah, the owner of Smallwood Photography! I definitely have the wedding bug and if I could physically do a wedding every single day I would gladly do it. There’s just something about the joy, excitement, and genuine love that I cannot get enough of! I absolutely love doing little detail shots of all the beautiful decorations that the couple put so much thought into. I want my couples to look back on the photos and be reminded of every detail, big and small, that made their special day perfect. My goal is to photograph a wedding in every state!

Awarded Best of Zola
I can honestly say our wedding experience was perfect, and Hannah definitely played a big part in that. She was absolutely fantastic to work with, and made sure my husband Peter and I had everything we needed throughout the ceremony. She took sooooo many photos for us, and did a great job making sure everyone in the shot(s) looked just right! The photos are phenomenal--anytime I show them to people they say we look as if we belong in a wedding magazine! She technically shot our engagement photos, though we didn't call them that at the time, with her bluebonnet sessions earlier this year (which also came out amazing). We are scheduled to take Christmas photos with her this year as well, which I'm sure will be wonderful. We seriously can't recommend her enough!

Adeline is the BEST photographer! They captured some of my favorite moments and froze them in time so that I can look back on them forever. I normally hate being in front of a camera but Adeline and Valerie made my fiancé and I feel so comfortable that it didn’t feel like modeling. She balanced in-the-moment creativity with preparedness, so my partner and I had an idea of where we were going and the freedom to act natural during our engagement photoshoot at a local bookstore. I will never need to find another photographer, because Adeline and Valerie are my go-to!

I'm a reportage-style wedding photographer, documenting all the in-between moments that make up the authentic story of your wedding day. I believe that the photos should be about your wedding, not the other way around. My couples crave a natural, photojournalistic take that tell the real story of their day, not just pretty, perfect photos. Because your wedding day is not a photo shoot.

From the moment we first spoke with Rae, we knew we had found our perfect wedding photographer. Rae's personable, kind, and knowledgeable communication style immediately put us at ease, even though I was feeling indecisive and terrified throughout the whole planning process. Rae took the time to truly understand what my husband and I wanted, and helped us create a timeline that was as relaxed as we had hoped. On our wedding day, Rae's compassionate and fun presence made it easy for us to forget the camera was even there, allowing her to capture the most beautiful, richly colored, and candid moments. The final photos were amazingly edited, showcasing the inclusive way Rae documented our special day. We are thrilled with the results and are so grateful to have had Rae as part of our wedding journey.

Hey, I'm Annie. I'm a film + digital wedding photographer based in Texas. I do this for the generations to come. For the little girls, just as I once was, sitting on the carpet flipping through their grandma's and mothers wedding photos and dreaming of a love story such as theirs. I take a documentary meet's editorial approach. Leaving space for emotions to evolve when the moment calls and stepping in to gently guide when needed. No two weddings should ever look like they could belong to anyone but the couple themselves and I stand by that. This truly is my creative passion.

She captured some amazing images that I will treasure forever, and it’s only been a week so I’ve only seen the sneak peeks, there are still more to come! She was professional and thorough, we had a few calls prior to the big day to go over details and make sure we were all on the same page. THERE IS A LOT GOING ON BEHIND THE SCENES.OUR PHOTOGRAPHY IS BOLD & CREATIVE, AIMING TO TELL STORIES AND DOCUMENT THE REAL MOMENTS. WE ARE MORE THAN HAPPY TO SHOOT A FEW FORMALS AND WE ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO THE BRIDE AND GROOM SESSIONS.

We are absolutely obsessed with our wedding photos and videos! This team seriously brought their A-game and made our special day even more magical. From the start, they were super chill and easy to work with. On the big day, they were like ninjas, capturing every awesome moment without being in the way. They have such a knack for finding those perfect, candid shots that totally show the real us. Plus, the way they set up the posed photos. When we got our photos and the video, we couldn't stop smiling and laughing. They caught all the love, laughter, and even the crazy dance moves (hello, epic dance party!). The highlight reel was like a mini movie of the best day ever—we’ve already watched it a million times! The whole experience was just fun and stress-free, thanks to their good vibes and clear communication. They really listened to what we wanted and made sure we felt comfortable and relaxed. Thank you guys !

BOOKING OPENS DECEMBER! Hello! My name is Dara and my goal is to make your photo dreams come true! I am all about capturing you and your partner in the most loving and natural way possible. I want you guys to be able to look at your photos and remember how you felt, not just like how you looked. My style is both candid and posed. Both photojournalistic and at times editorial.

Dara Espinoza Photography was the perfect choice for our wedding photographer. From the very beginning, Dara's communication was clear, effective, and compassionate, putting us at ease throughout the planning process. On the day of our wedding, Dara's passionate, fun, and lighthearted approach made the experience truly enjoyable. She handled the chaos of the day like an absolute girl boss, adding laughs and liveliness to our photos, video, and interactions with our guests. After the wedding, we received so many compliments from our guests about Dara's wonderful personality. We are thrilled with the beautiful, joyful photos that captured all the special moments of our big day.
