“Not sure where to begin writing this review. There are truly no words big enough to describe how special Cello Joe was as our wedding DJ. He wasn’t just a part of our wedding day, he made our wedding day. From the very first moment to the very last song, he gave us something so magical, so unforgettable, that it still makes us emotional to think about. He was literally the heartbeat of our day. He played live cello pre ceremony for all the guests to enjoy that was truly so beautiful. But the live cello as I walked down the aisle is a memory etched into our hearts forever. It was more than music. It felt like the soundtrack to our love story, and it was the most beautiful beginning to the rest of our lives. Then, during cocktail hour, he transformed the atmosphere with looping, beatboxing, and cello in a way that left every single guest completely captivated. People couldn’t stop talking about it, and even now, they’re still telling us it was the most unique and breathtaking performance they’ve ever experienced at a wedding from start to finish. And then there was the saxophonist he brought in during the dance party. pure magic. Together, they created an energy that was electric, soulful, and overflowing with joy. They didn’t just entertain, they touched every heart in the room. Not only was he the most talented cello musician, he absolutely crushed the dance party and played non stop for 3:30 hours. Not one bad song or bad mix. It was absolutely incredible. But what truly sets him apart is how much heart he pours into what he does. He allowed us to relive the most important day of our lives again and again. That level of thoughtfulness is beyond anything we could have imagined. Our wedding was perfect because of him. The fact that she is well known also helps, as most vendors and venues love working with her. “We had a Latino and Indian fusion wedding and our guests were so happy with the music. We were initially worried about how we would fuse both of our cultures and how we would keep both sides of the family entertained and on the dance floor but Rafael and Richard did an amazing job! It started with a 1hr sync before the wedding where we explained to them the vibe and the small little details that we wanted to include. Bryan and Rafael were so knowledgeable and so open to our suggestions and needs. The day of they showed up on time and had everything ready and set up on time. When our timeline got pushed a little they were super accommodating and helped keep the guests entertained. My mom was raving about the song choices that Rafael included. He hit the sweet spot of doing updated R&B songs and also older songs from my parents generation that had my mom in tears enjoying the atmosphere. “Trecee was our DJ for our outdoor wedding reception, and he was amazing! My husband and I were originally going to just play music from our phone, but I’m glad that we found and hired Trecee instead! With no coordinator and last minute changes before and on the day of our wedding, Trecee remained professional, flexible, and fun as our DJ and MC! He followed our song cue list wonderfully, and helped us remix our first dance songs just how we planned. He made announcements we had set on the schedule as well as additional ones requested. He also made funny comments, which totally added to the vibes. His music choices were just what we were looking for, and even with a request by my family to switch to slower songs, he did it seamlessly; Fun, hyped songs for the younger crowd and romantic songs for the elders. He arrived about 45 minutes before his contract hours started to set up and even gave us (bridal party) warnings and updates on getting behind or on track of schedule! (Which is very helpful as, again, we didn’t have a coordinator.) Overall, he is a great DJ & MC, and my now husband and I would highly recommend his services!
