We can’t say enough good things about having our wedding at Orting Manor. My (now) husband and I went to tour just ONE venue and absolutely fell in love with the charm of Orting Manor. Not only were we given the option to rent the entire property, but they also had decor available to use for our big day. We felt so supported and were able to ask questions, bounce ideas off, and were given ample information leading up to the day. It’s not often you find a wedding venue that can truly do it all. In addition, Tiphany (venue manager) was a delight to work with from the first day - and we immediately knew we wanted to work with her! Breanna was our day of venue host and she was perfection and helped make the day run smooth! Our guests had the best time, and couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful the venue was. It is intimate but also enough space to hold more than enough people. Orting Manor will forever hold such a place in our heart and we can’t recommend it enough.

We picked this venue because of the beautiful views all around. Despite it being an August wedding, it rained throughout our rehearsal and leading up to our ceremony. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our day would be perfect, no matter the weather! They made set up seamless and gave ideas on how to organize things (super helpful to a bride who’s already making 100 decisions) It rained until an hour before our ceremony, our guests commented how the staff was wiping down benches to make sure seating was dry. It was great!! The bonfire was perfect because it was a chilly evening and made for great pictures. This venue is naturally beautiful, lots of spots for organic pictures. We were the first couple to use the big tent, great timing. The tent was huge and easily fit around 120 people, the lights strung throughout it are a nice touch! We brought an LED sign and Pat was kind enough to put on a wood slab post, making it much cuter! Another highlight was we were able to include our dog child in our special day. She was able to stay with us the entire weekend and we loved being able to include her. Everyone was just so kind and helpful. We’re so happy we picked this place. I recommend this to anyone and everyone, we cant say enough good things about it!

Our guests loved staying in the cozy cabins, which were comfortable and had everything they needed. It was so nice to have everyone close by for the whole weekend. Plus, we were thrilled that the resort is pet-friendly—it meant we could include our dog in our special day, which made it even more memorable. The ceremony by the water was absolutely stunning, and the natural beauty of the resort added such a special touch to everything. It was exactly the kind of relaxed and beautiful celebration we had hoped for. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that offers gorgeous scenery, cozy accommodations, and a welcoming atmosphere (for both people and pets!), I can’t recommend Mike's Beach Resort enough. We LOVED our wedding at IslandWood! I worked on the events team at IslandWood from 2019-2021, before shifting careers completely. I always loved to work the weddings, and imagined that my dream wedding would be there one day. I am so so happy that I was able to make that dream come true!! IslandWood goes above and beyond to make the guests' and bride & groom's experiences absolutely perfect! I personally already knew the food would taste amazing, as I used to always eat the leftovers when I worked there. But eating food from a menu that my husband and I got to custom design with Jim was truly an unforgettable experience. All of the guests loved the food, and Jim and his team tackle every request that you throw their way! My husband is Dominican, and Jim made sure that the Dominican food he made was authentic and delicious. At one point, my husband's aunts asked whether a Dominican was working in the kitchen! Moreover, Erica, our event planner, went above and beyond to ensure that we had a perfect weekend! IslandWood is a magical place, and your wedding will be magical if you choose to have it there. Yes, it is pricey, but the experiences that you, your family, and your friends will leave with are truly invaluable!
