“We hired 17th & Sage for Day of Coordination and florals and worked directly with Alexis. Day of coordination was perfect for us since we already had a pretty clear vision for what we wanted the decor to be and look like, we just needed someone to implement it day of and Alexis and her team did just that! They do not offer previews for the flowers if you’re doing floral but trust that they are experienced, my flowers and bouquet were absolutely beautiful and just in line with my colors! Alexis and I weren’t communicating on a weekly basis which makes sense since I hired her for just day of, but we did chat just enough to get a good grasp of what needed to be done. She met with me for the first time three months out and then a second time like 2 weeks before the day. Alexis was very patient and kind throughout the day especially when we had to make last minute changes but everything still worked out great and our wedding day was perfect. “Because of all the florals already there due to the nature of the venue, and all the florals and plants they filled in, I didn’t feel the need to have a ton of florals, so I did them myself! I found Flower Moxie here on Zola and they were so great! If you are thinking about DIY’ing your florals, I would definitely recommend looking into Flower Moxie! They have some set packages you can chose from, but I upgraded to the highest personalized package and it was so worth it. I got to have a phone call with the florist and they put together a custom package, and they definitely killed it, the flowers were exactly what I had in mind. There were so many resources and they went through everything so well I felt so prepared and we had almost no issues putting all the florals together. All of our florals still looked fresh and beautiful on our wedding day, and some of the florals in our arch arrangements lasted WEEKS. A word of caution though: it is definitely a lot of work, so just ensure that you have enough time in town before your wedding (i.e. you can’t fly in the day before your ceremony, if you are traveling to that location) and enough people to help you (for putting together, transporting and anything day of). I actually really enjoyed getting to do my florals myself, and would highly recommend if you are creative and DIYing your wedding!”

“Use The Faux Bouquets! I know there are a lot of options out there for faux florals, but this company really stands out. Absolutely gorgeous selections. We chose one of the more basic options because of our color scheme but there were so many more stunning, fun and colorful options out there as well! We used them for the bouquets and boutonnieres and it made life so easy. No need to worry about the flowers staying alive or getting water stains on your dresses. We had everything in bins ready to go before wedding day. Great pricing. The bouquets are so full and you can see the thought that goes into choosing the colors, type, and placement of each flower.
