And in the South, hospitality is an art form.​ It means personal touches and always caring about even the smallest of details - fine invitations, the perfect guest favors, hand-written thank you notes.

A native of North Carolina, Elaina moved from Charlotte to St. Petersburg with her husband in 2013. Elaina brings with her a background in both interior design and event planning, and values the importance of personal touches and an attention to detail. At Cotton & Magnolia, Elaina marries her roots in Southern hospitality with a love for flowers to create natural, garden-style boutique floral designs. Her designs offer an updated, sophisticated look that is eclectic and textural. Simple. Elegant. Southern-inspired.

We begin working with most of our Clients 6 - 12 months before the actual wedding. Having said that, my honest advice is that if you have someone in mind that you love, don't hesitate to at least make initial contact with them. While I know some vendors will not take events that are more than 12 - 18 months away, there is no harm in asking, and at least getting your name on someone's radar.
At this time, we do not have a minimum. Prices are done a-la-carte, and are based on the types of flowers we use and the actual size of your arrangements.
When/If you are ready to book, there is a contract and a deposit. Receipt of these two ​items is what officially gets your event on our calendar.
Absolutely! We will always plan to do a final consult about 4 weeks before your wedding, and you are welcome to make changes up until that point.​
Yes, any delivery/set-up/breakdown fees will be included as a line item at the bottom of your proposal.​
While we try to keep our main focus on the floral side of things, we do offer day-of-coordination services as our schedule allows. Pricing starts at $1000.​
When it comes to setting a budget for wedding flowers, the sky really is the limit! Some resources advise you to set aside 8-10% of your total wedding budget for flowers, and that’s honestly a great place to start. Regardless of where your budget falls, it can be a difficult conversation to have, but it is one that I urge you to have early on in the process - with all of your wedding vendors.
Whether your budget is $500 or $5000, you’re going to want to prioritize. If your budget falls on the lower end of the spectrum, focus on your personal flowers to get the biggest bang for your buck – bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres – since these items will be photographed the most. From there, think about what you might need for ceremony and reception décor.
