When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). Historically, we’ve found wedding DJs to be subpar. Between the poor choice in songs and the lack of beat matching ability, we‘ve always had critiques about the DJs when we attend weddings. From the initial consultation to the wedding day itself, DJ Neema was dedication to making the musical experience authentic and meaningful. Initially, we interviewed two DJs and DJ Neema stood out with his impeccable mix that seamlessly blended our eclectic music tastes, from Houston rap to Bollywood hits. On the wedding day, he worked his magic, keeping the dance floor alive the entire time — keep in mind that this was a daytime and a completely dry wedding! His ability to read the crowd and curate the perfect vibe for the event was truly impressive. When it started sprinkling, neither our guests nor DJ Neema wanted to stop so with the help from some friends, they constructed a cover for DJ Neema’s set up with a table cloth and dry cleaning plastic and kept the party going (see pic)! SFC not only let us choose from a huge list of awesome songs for them to play before the ceremony, but they played all of my own works with gusto, excellent musicianship, and poise. He smoothly integrated must-play songs and requests in both English and Spanish to keep everyone happy and dancing, just as we'd hoped. “I knew I wanted a DJ that was familiar with the Rabb House sound system limitations and I saw Jason had worked the Rabb House before. He offered a discount if we paid in cash and threw in extras like uplighting which really helped set the mood. He listened to and followed our preferences for music and, I was surprised, actually got people dancing. He was great a emceeing the event as well, very helpful announcements and not cheesy.”
