    This is a five-star review for singer and songwriter, Jan Seides. And the reason we’re giving five stars is because we hired Jan to perform beautiful songs at our wedding, and not only did she have a large catalog of songs for us to choose from, but she was willing and totally capable to learn new ones for us that were on our list. And she also created an original song for us that was personalized, and it was just so beautiful, it made all of our wedding guests cry. And the whole package was reasonably priced, and it was such a great experience from start to finish. She really added something to our very special day and we so appreciate that.     When I first heard Jan play, I knew she was the perfect person for our wedding. She's got a unique style on both piano and guitar and a beautiful voice. She also was very professional, showing up for both the rehearsal and wedding on time, enthusiastic, and comforting. Her music was incredibly moving making our day even more special.. I cherish this day and Jan did an amazing job! I highly recommend her!

    I wanted an excellent, professional, and kind pianist for our wedding. Jan was the answer. I am also a pianist, and I did not want the standard Pachelbel's Canon or Wedding March played during our ceremony. I had dreamt of Beethoven's Pathetique playing as my father walked me down the aisle for as long as I can remember -- my dad played this on the piano frequently when I was a child, so the piece holds a lot of sentimental value. I had previously worked with my church's pianist, who was judgmental of my music choices, steering me away from using any unique pieces for the ceremony. As a young bride, I nearly listened to that lady. But I am so glad someone recommended Jan! As soon as I contacted her, she asked all the right questions and provided details about her services that put me at ease. In addition to the Pathetique, I also requested portions of pieces I had played growing up, including Bach, Chopin, Debussy, and Grieg's Wedding Day at Troldhaugen. Not only did Jan perform every piece with technical ease and excellence, her musicianship was truly moving. Jan was punctual, always prepared, and her pricing was more than fair. Her presence is steady and calming, and she has a wonderful sensibility for timing and supporting an event with her music. She brings a lot of experience to the table, so she was able to provide a realistic perspective while delivering a beautiful service to all who heard her play. Several people came up to me after the wedding, complimenting Jan's piano playing. It was such a relief to have her play piano for us. If you are looking for an excellent musician and wonderful human being to play for your wedding, I highly recommend Jan Seides.
