Nothing drives me crazier than a DJ who can’t keep a steady beat or doesn’t know how to read the room. Jason Roby exceeded every expectation. He’s not just a DJ - Jason is a musician and a great singer, and you can tell immediately. His knowledge of music shines through in the way he keeps the flow smooth, the transitions clean, and the dance floor moving. Every song made sense with the next one, which is rare but so important for keeping guests dancing. What really sets him apart, though, is his personality. “My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “Tyler from Jammin’ DJs brought the right vibes on our wedding night! We had live musicians for ceremony and cocktail hour, but starting with grand entrances and through dinner/dancing, Tyler seamlessly took over. Something important to look for in DJs is comfort making announcements, and that was very well done here. He made extra sure to check pronunciations and ensure what he was saying was what we wanted to happen. My husband and I love all kinds of music, so it was impressive that he sifted through the long list of requests with a through-the-decades method that had cohesiveness. The uplighting as part of the package was great, too. It signaled the change from classy ceremony and dinner with orange/gold tones to a bluer/neon dancing vibe. My only complaint (and I don’t think this is on Tyler’s side of the business) was that we very explicitly communicated over the phone that venue setup time was 2h before the ceremony, but that we wouldn’t be needing DJ services until post-cocktail hour. We made it through a phone call with John, a full contract-signing exchange, and a video conference with Tyler before Jammin’ DJs notified us we’d need to pay an extra 125 setup fee for the setup-to-usage delay. It was very stressful to have this on our plate during wedding week, and despite questioning this Jammin’ DJs stood firm. It felt like we got backed into a corner to make the company more money when we were in a bad position (close to the wedding!) On the scale of a wedding, maybe 125 isn’t that much, but it’s the fact that we felt repeatedly not listened to and that it was such a scramble time-wise making this leave a sour taste. I want to close this review by emphasizing this has little to do with Tyler and that I would still use this DJ service again! I just would be more clear and exchange more details in writing to defend myself next time. Thank you, Jammin’ DJs, for being a part of our day!”

“Joel with Loud Lion Live Entertainment was absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding! From the very first consultation call we had with him, we could tell he was the person we wanted to work with. One of my questions for him during that first call was if I provide a list of music and songs that I want to hear, will you use that or will you play your own mixes and playlists that you typically use? He said the more information I provide him with the better. I made a playlist with more songs than could be played in one night and Joel used my playlist exclusively. He even played a not common song from our playlist that is special to my husband and I, which was one of the highlights of our night! His professionalism and self-awareness was great too. He moved out from behind the DJ booth during our first dance as it was centered behind where we were being photographed and videoed, so everything captured from that moment only has us in them. I also requested the music be played at a moderate volume all night so people could still have conversations with each other without yelling, which he did perfectly (my ears have been blasted at other weddings I have attended and did not want the same experience for my guests). Joel helped make our wedding reception such a special night and one we will never forget. We highly recommend using Loud Lion Live Entertainment for your DJ!”
