Established in 2006, Machines with Magnets is a contemporary art gallery, cocktail bar, event and performance venue, and renowned recording studio. ‍ Our versatile event space offers carefully selected Danish Modern details in a non-traditional layout. Inviting, memorable, and hospitality-driven - perfect for both intimate gatherings and glamorous galas. ‍ Two distinct indoor spaces - the venue and gallery - comprise our 2,000 square foot event space. A private, lighted, and furnished patio area is also included. Dressing room and back of house areas are available on request.

This Victorian treasure was built in the late 1880s, and originally served as the county courthouse. It’s been lovingly restored, and boasts a two-story theater space with an exquisitely embellished ceiling and wraparound mezzanine balcony. In the warmer months, ceremonies may be held in Centanni Courtyard. This airy outdoor space continues the historic feel of the Arts Center with lawns, a large arbor, and brick pathways. Your rental fee helps support the Center’s mission: to educate the community about diversity through the presentation of multicultural arts programs, and to make the center available to artists and groups who may not otherwise have access to a professionally equipped space.

Boston Opera House first opened in 1928 as the B.F Keith Memorial Theater. The lavish movie theater was designed in a combination of French and Italian styles by Thomas White Lamb, one of the foremost theater architects of his day. After a series of ownership changes, Boston Opera House was restored and renovated in late 2004 in order to accommodate the needs of large Broadway touring productions. In 1926, Helen Osborne Storrow was decorating a temporary structure to depict an early American kitchen. An active trustee of the Eastern States Exposition and chairwoman of the Home Department, she dreamed of moving the handicraft exhibit to an actual home on-site – a building with its own kitchen!
