“The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. “Eddie & Dave were awesome! They were our DJ and emcee for our wedding ceremony and reception on August 31. Eddie was easy to communicate with, and was there for us through the whole experience from beginning to end. The second it was dance time, they got the crowd up and out onto the dance floor in a heartbeat, and most didn’t leave the dance floor until the night was over. DJ was good, knew what songs to play, when to play them, and played the ones I wanted. And the emcee was awesome, funny & easily able to get people involved in whatever!! We also rented a Photo Booth through DJ Double E and it was a HUGE hit!! They’re awesome and I would totally book them again!”

She had great advice throughout the entire process and took time to get to know us and what style/vibe we wanted for our reception. Communication is key, and she had the logistics of the reception planned down to the minute. The music portal is very user friendly and it was really fun to think through our music. If you need song advice, she's your gal. She will strictly adhere to your do NOT play list. She gets the guests engaged and is truly a party starter (if that's what you want). Once we committed he provided a google doc to figure out or music and how we wanted the flow of our wedding. And let me tell you yesterday he did not miss a beat. The way he adapted to small changes and keeping us on track was truly incredible. We had 3 locations at our venue and he had no issues changing over keeping the day a smooth transition. From ceremony, tent dining to barn dancing the music was just on point. He really knew how to keep the music going and no steel moments. The best part was after all the wedding moments were done we had the dancing in the barn and he had my 150 guest dancing from being to end! I got so many compliments on the play list and was told by my guests that my wedding was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and I believe that was because I picked the most AMAZING DJ and the prettiest venue! They providing lighting for inside AND outside the tent! They we on time. Their set up team was friendly and professional. “We could rave about DJ Thrilla all day long, but in the words of our wedding guests: “Best dance floor we’ve seen in a long time!” It’s been weeks since our wedding and our guests can’t stop talking about how great the music was. Arthur did a great job with the ceremony and cocktail hour, and managed a tricky parent dance section (multiple sets of parents & timing!) We requested a Taylor Swift mashup and he exceeded expectations and made it the highlight of our night. The dance floor was always packed, and Arthur did a great job of taking into account our requests while playing music everyone would enjoy. We opted to use uplighting as well, which looked beautiful during dinner (we chose a warm lighting) and was so fun for the dance floor with flashing lights. By the end of the night, he even had guests asking him to travel to Texas to DJ their wedding! Booking DJ Thrilla was one of the best vendor decisions we made for our wedding and we could not recommend him more!”
