Sue's love of flowers traces back to her childhood, where she immersed herself in the whimsical garden of her Aunt Cecilia, the namesake of our business. My passion for photography began at the University of Delaware. I devoured many photography books and eagerly began an apprenticeship with a professional photographer. On graduating I worked long hours for studios throughout the metropolitan area. In 2001, I set up my own studio concentrating on weddings and other special events. Now Michael Dempsey Photography boasts a highly professional team of photographers and cinematographers. Together we have memorialized over 800 special occasions. Our dual objective: to capture the grandeur of the day while incorporating those very human moments - the smile of a child, the tear of a grandparent.
