Welcome to Wilson’s Bittersweet Barn. Constructed in 1817, Wilson’s Bittersweet Barn was built prior to the civil war and was likely used as a staging area during the Battle of Gettysburg. This aged brick structure is a unique architectural masterpiece that has withstood the test of time. We specialize in Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversaries, and gatherings of various sizes. Stone Ridge Acres started construction in 2019 and just recently started booking for 2021. It lies on a beautiful ridge in the heart of Pennsylvania. Stone Ridge Acres is owned and operated by Mike & Sarah Brubaker who reside in McAlisterville, Pa. Together, they chose to dedicate time to successfully keep the charm of Chestnut Hill Villa's private Country Estate 14-acre property. Well Wishes Farm is a barn venue offering 2 full days of use with each rental. The air-conditioned farmhouse, built in 1855, is included and has separate spaces for the bridal party and groomsmen to get ready. The barn is not climate controlled, but fans, open doors, and a breeze are utilized in summer months and portable heaters in cooler months. Rental of the venue is a flat fee and includes taxes, use of chairs, 5' round tables, 8' rectangular tables, cocktail tables, whiskey barrels, patio heaters, bars, refrigerators/freezers, and a bronze arch. Well Wishes Farm, endeavors to allow couples to create the custom wedding of their dreams in a non-hurried fashion. We provide the backdrop, and couples achieve their vision with vendors of their own choosing. New for the 2025 season are 2 handicapped-accessible bathrooms that are steps from the barn. You can leisurely set up your wedding exactly the way you want it. Have your rehearsal on site the night before, sleep on property, and have no worries about traveling to your wedding! We provide tables, chairs, arches, greenery walls, luxury trailer bathrooms, handmade wooden bars, wood rounds, ball jars, and so many more accessories! The 57 acre property will give a deep breath of relaxation to your event and can accommodate over 200 guests. Mark and Karlen have been restoring the farm for 19 years, one thing has been maintained as much as possible in its original form, the barn. The historic late 1800’s bank barn has many of the original board siding, only to be replaced in-like when needed. It boasts a very large 4 bay layout with the original chestnut flooring. The board siding allows the light to dance off the beautiful wood floors. It is a privilege for Mark and Karlen to invite you into their treasured barn and grounds.

Outside the doors of the reception rooms is a large brick patio and pollinator garden, just right for cocktail hour.
