The team at the Francis Marion Hotel was an absolute pleasure to work with. Their communication was prompt, attentive, and highly detailed throughout the entire planning process. The venue itself is large, elegant, and impeccably clean - the perfect backdrop for our special day. They were extremely accommodating, working closely with my mother and other guests who had major food intolerance issues. The hotel also provided amazing vendor referrals that helped make our wedding day run seamlessly. I cannot recommend the Francis Marion Hotel highly enough to any couple looking for a beautiful, stress-free venue with a top-notch staff.

Not only did I not have to really decorate the space because it's SO gorgeous, my guests cannot stop commenting on the magical atmosphere of the ceremony space. It's nestled below a gorgeous 1800's house, along a creek, and is so green and lush in the spring and summer. I bet fall weddings would be stunning too! We got married May 3rd. The owners are the sweetest and so wonderful to work with. I want to relive this day again and again!

Working with Separk was super easy from start to finish. We had Hannah as our wedding coordinator and she did a great job with creating and sticking to the timeline. She also did great at setting up our decor items and some flowers we brought to the venue. She was very communicative with us and our bridal party/family so that everyone knew what was expected from them for the ceremony. Overall we had a great experience with Separk and had the most perfect wedding thanks to them!

I held my son and his now wife’s reception here in Sept 2024. You will not find a better person to work with than Sandra. She has the best idea’s and will help make your event special and perfect. The Bonaparte castle is a must see to appreciate its beauty. Her way of putting ideas together with your own brings her event space to life. Not only are the renovating a castle but they have a great outdoor space including a fire pit. There is a small tavern that can be used for that very purpose. I am holding my own wedding and reception here next Oct and couldn’t be more excited to work with her again. Please enjoy my photos.

The Hartley House (also known as the Bond-Bates-Hartley House) located in Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina was built circa 1790 for John Pearson Bond. The house later came into possession of John Bates, husband of John Pearson Bond’s great niece and a member of the family that the town of Batesburg was named for. There are many local legends surrounding this house and it’s friendly visitors. According to local tradition, the Bond-Bates-Hartley House served as a stagecoach stop and post office, prior to the founding of the town of Batesburg. Architecturally the house is a typical upcountry farmhouse, with a portico adapted from the Greek Revival style.

Crystal with The Hartley House is hands down one of the best vendors I’ve worked with in the greater Columbia wedding industry. Her communication is excellent, she is flexible, and extremely helpful with problem-solving before and on wedding day. She also genuinely cares about her brides, and you can tell she is so passionate about her job and just being a part of the couple’s wedding journey. Hartley House is a stunning venue that is incredibly affordable. From a wedding coordinating perspective, it is such a convenient and logistically simple venue to produce events. I HIGHLY recommend Hartley House.

1812 Hitching Post was an absolute dream to work with for the couple’s wedding. As a photographer I thought the communication from the venue was efficient, organized, and the staff were incredibly kind throughout the wedding day. Working with them on site was great. The quality of their work was stunning - the vintage, beautiful grounds provided a gorgeous outdoor space for the wedding and reception. They alap make for stunning photos. Everything flowed seamlessly on the day of, thanks to the venue's attention to detail and commitment to making the couple’s special day perfect. The team delivered our Vision 100%. We had a lot of DIY items stored in labeled boxes and we went over everything and provided a description of what the tables would look like etc and the day off I didn’t have to do anything but focus on being the bride and getting pretty. The energy of everyone on the team was positive and extremely accommodating!! If I didn’t have the answer for where things should go the response was always “don’t worry, we will figure it out!” I would hire them again for my next event! They were also able to provide our photo booth service (last minute bc we decided on it late in the game) and they brought personalized props to fit our theme and personalities. All of my wedding guests complimented them and spoke highly of how organized they were. I made it clear I wanted to start on time (not 1 minute earlier or later) and Demetra did JUST THAT!! I would HIGHLY recommend them! Prior to the wedding day we met at the venue to discuss details and talk through logistics. This made me and my husband feel comfortable and allowed the planners to see everything that needed to be executed. They were running around the entire night so that my bridal party and guests didn’t have to lift a finger and everyone knew where to go and what to do. Thank you again for an amazing experience!!

The Cabin At Old Spur was the perfect venue for our wedding. All communication with the staff was clear and effective, and they were extremely responsive to our needs. The cabin and the grounds were amazing, and it easily accommodated our wedding of over 100 people. A storm was approaching right before the wedding, and they made sure to keep me up to date on all changes, ensuring the day went off without a hitch. We wish we could go back and relive our special day at this wonderful venue!

Halls Signature Events is our private dining and event venue for the award-winning restaurant Halls Chophouse, The Charleston Steakhouse. Whether your event is held in our lovely historic venue at 5 Faber Street in downtown Charleston, or we bring our private chef services to your home or offsite event, you and your guests will be treated to Halls' renowned service and the quality you have come to expect from our restaurants. This refurbished historic warehouse features a cool brick façade, inset with multiple windows and large, natural wood doors. Inside, you’ll find more exposed brick, arched doorways, a fully-equipped marble bar, commercial kitchen, and a mezzanine level set with plush lounge furniture. Get as creative as you like with this eclectic space—your rental agreement doesn’t require you to use specified vendors, so you're free to design your own décor, flowers, and room layouts, and use the facility in whatever way suits your vision.

Not only is this event space incredibly gorgeous but the event director, Emily Schultz, was the most helpful and professional that lead to a stress-free wedding experience. The space contains a large entry, spacious bar, beautiful main room, and a lounge and loft. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with brick, dark woods, green, and gold in a romantic and elegant way. There's tile and wood floors with decorated walls that made this area so much more appealing than an empty banquet hall. Emily communicated with me through email and phone quickly, often, and professionally. She was the biggest help to this out of town bride! Her and her team put on an amazing event down to personalized menus and beyond excellent service from the bartenders to the many servers. Our guests also told us that the filet they had was the best they ever had! We had 60 guests and had plenty of room for a dance floor, dj, and photobooth area. We did our cocktail hour and reception here. I could not recommend Halls enough!
