We decided to go ahead and get married and just have a reception. Kenny was absolutely amazing to work with. He was with us the entire way. He continually reassured us that him and his team would 100% be there and do anything they could to make it a great day (minus breaking the law!). He was responsive and thorough. I would use him over and over again, if I needed DJ services often at least! We also got the selfie station from him and my friends said it was best kind of photo booth they had ever seen! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. “Booking a DJ was perhaps one of the wedding decisions I was most nervous about because I have been to too many weddings with boring/cringey DJs. In my opinion, a DJ can make or break the experience for your guests. Niko made the experience a blast for us and for our guests, start to finish! We had just under 100 guests, very much a mix of older folks who didn't interact with the dance floor much, and friends who were on the dance floor all night. Niko did a perfect job of playing exactly what we wanted, and reading the crowd to adjust the vibe and keep the energy going. I'll never forget ending the night on a high note with Pink Pony Club and a circle of our closest friends dancing to the very end with us. He also did great with the transitions and announcements throughout the night and kept our night running smoothly. Niko has the whole planning process very well organized with consultation meetings and playlist brainstorming. His communication was professional, warm, inclusive, and organized.
