First, there’s the expansive five-room villa that was once the original school. Carefully curated with art from around the world, the schoolhouse sleeps 14 and has been fully modernized with a large kitchen, multiple seating areas, a great lawn and a covered veranda with an outdoor fireplace. Next, there's the Martindale Social Hall. Perfect for wedding receptions, dances, corporate outings, you name it... all hosted under the sky and stars within the walls of the original school gymnasium. Bingham Ranch Events is a beautifully wooded venue sitting on 78 acres with multiple outdoor ceremony sights to choose from. The 1850's entire historic house is available for the bride and her party with a large bridal suite, ample mirrors and great lighting for hair and make-up. The men have a separate "men's cave" to comfortably hang out with a large party room, tv's, refrigerator and bathrooms. The rental time is 10 hours, and all buildings are included with your rental. Your reception can be set up under our open pavilion with screens that are electronic and can be up or down with twinkling lights from the ceiling. We have a large catering room and provide all the tables, chairs and up to 10 cocktail tables for your rental time.

The James Simon family commissioned Houston architect Alfred C. Finn, whose career included designing a number of prominent Houston buildings as well as the San Jacinto Monument, to design the theatre for the community of Brenham.
