“We had the most amazing time working with Ali! We had kind of a long engagement and we initially started working with Ali over a year and a half before our wedding to get our engagement photos done. Not only were the photos beautiful, but Ali made us feel super comfortable and at ease throughout our session. Leading up to our wedding day, Ali was amazing at coordinating the day of timeline with our coordinator and making sure that all the elements that were important to us were included so that we had enough time to capture the moments. One of my favorite things about working with Ali is her calm presence. Every time I was stressed about something in the planning process about the timeline I would talk to Ali and she would immediately make me feel at ease. She was constantly reminding me that the most important thing on my wedding day was to be present with our friends and family (and as a type A bride this was a much-needed reminder!) Ali also came to take photos at our rehearsal dinner and welcome party which was great because she got to know our families and our family dynamics before our big day which was a huge help! “Isaac was absolutely fantastic to work with, and we couldn't be happier we chose Love Knot Photography for our wedding. From the start, what stood out was how much he cared about capturing the actual feeling of the day rather than just working through a checklist of poses. He and his co-photographer had a great eye for the in-between moments — the little glances, the laughter, the chaos of getting ready — alongside all the formal shots we expected. Looking through our gallery afterward, so many of our favorite photos are ones we didn't even know were being taken. He was also just easy and calm to have around on a hectic day, which mattered more than we realized it would. Weddings move fast, and having a photographer who was unobtrusive but always exactly where he needed to be took one more thing off our minds. One of the things we appreciated most: he and his co-photographer stayed well past the time included in our package, all the way until we started dancing. That extra stretch of time meant they captured some of the best — and funniest — photos of the whole night, catching our friends and family completely in their element on the dance floor. It wasn't something we asked for; they just wanted to make sure they got the shots. Isaac also went well beyond the package once it came to editing. Our contract included 300 retouched photos, but we ended up with around 550 edited images and 717 total files between web and print resolution, including alternate crops and versions of several favorites. “Monica is a wonderful photographer. I’m obsessed with the photos she captured on my wedding day (and during my bridal portraits in separate session). On the wedding day, she captured EVERYTHING — wedding details, decor, guests, family, sweet candid moments of me and my husband during the first look, ceremony, and reception, and of course, the most iconic, gorgeous portraits of us too. She was very helpful in suggesting poses that looked natural and beautiful. Monica has a great eye for lighting and how to capture the beauty of a venue. She’s also great at capturing people — our wedding party included people of varying skin tones and she made everyone look good (ie no one was overexposed or underexposed). Monica and her team were so easy to work with and really listened to what my husband and I wanted (in terms of what we wanted captured or what poses we wanted to try), while also being attentive to our guests and capturing beautiful photos of them too. She was also very patient and has a calming presence. I would happily work with her again.”
