“From the very start CJ was amazing to work with! He is very easy to communicate with and super responsive to any questions. He has a worksheet to fill out with any specific songs for certain parts of the evening or for the reception dance floor, and by the end of the night he had gotten to every requested song. He was even able to throw in the Eagles fight song for the groom! There were a few moments in the night that we let CJ decide the music for and he chose the perfect songs to fit the vibe. He was great at reading the dance floor and adjusting to the crowd, and he had some fun mixes of well known songs to switch things up. On more than one occasion our guests raved about CJ through the night, and we couldn't have been happier with his work.”

“We had our wedding in the ballroom. Very scenic and beautiful venue! Overall a pretty good venue that includes food, tables, chairs, linens, etc. The ballroom house itself is beautiful with lots of light indoors due to the large windows, and a nice deck for an outside ceremony. Zoe communicated with us and answered all our questions and did our tasting and planning, until a week before the actual day where we were assigned a day of coordinator. I found this system to be not great, since the day of coordinator was essentially a stranger that you've never talked to at all, and you basically have to re explain everything you want. Even though they have an online planning tool (which is old and outdated), I found that they got our aisle directions wrong, the reception layout wrong, and our dinner meals were wrong. Thankfully, we had a separate planner that was able to correct these things, so I recommend getting an outside coordinator that works directly with you if you have room in the budget. Another thing was our limited setup time of 1.5 hours meaning the florist and other vendors couldn't set up earlier with more elaborate decorations and had to do something simple. I found out that this is because they had another wedding at the same place before ours (literally ending at 4) and so they rush to get the place cleaned for the evening wedding. The main room and the suit was renovated, but the bathrooms were all still dingy and not the best/cleanest to use. The food was good though, better than we had at our tasting and they got it out fast. Our vendors were fed the same food, and our guests thought it was pretty good wedding food. Apart from the couple hiccups we had, we thought the venue was great overall and really beautiful and we don't regret having our wedding there at all. It could be a little bit better in the small details for the price though.”

“I cannot recommend O’real Bakery enough and plan to every time I get the chance. For our tasting the owner Moyofore met me at a location with the most beautifully packaged boxes to open at home so our family could taste with us. Choosing was so very difficult! I think I will need to order the coconut cake separately for a different occasion because it was our second runner up choice. The day-of cake was delivered on time, set up beautifully for our outdoor event with a protective cover that didn’t distract from its beauty, and wow was it stunningly decorated. Perfection. The best part was eating it OMG. My guests were raving!! Not one leftover slice…except for the top of the cake which we will save for our anniversary. “Y’all, it is not an over-exaggeration when I say: hiring EventBay and Bashan was single-handedly the greatest choice we made in our entire wedding process. I cannot thank Bashan enough for her services, in addition to her several helpers who supported our wedding. My husband and I contracted with EventBay for our day-of wedding coordination. We’d heard great things about her through our friend/my bridesmaid, and all the hype was real. When we say we chose her, we didn’t realize that this service would include Bashan showing up to and running our entire rehearsal, giving us wrap-around services the day of, and meeting with us several times leading up to the wedding itself. We were so incredibly grateful for all of the supports Bashan gave us throughout the entire process. In addition to her coordination services, we also contracted with Bashan for balloon decoration. Bashan got to know Miles and I with our initial call, in person meeting at the venue, and zoom call, and with all of that knowledge, she threw together the most BEAUTIFUL balloon arch. This took up one of the major walls in our wedding and was full of rainbow colors (I’m nonbinary), marbled balloons, and was complete with thoughtful details of rainbow roses inserted into every color change in the arch. WOW! Let me tell you: this thing took my breath away. I was married at a local venue, and while the event was GORGEOUS, Bashan insured that I would never be aware that a tragedy occurred at the venue unrelated to the wedding. She handled the issue with grace and her and her staff ensured that those of us in the wedding never felt the impact of what occurred. You never want a disaster to strike at your wedding, but to my knowledge, that day, I wasn’t even aware that one had happened, and that really speaks to the services EventBay provides. From now on, I will be contracting with Bashan for everything. If ever a friend needs an event planner, a decorator, ANYTHING, I will tell them: don’t go to anyone else. This is who you NEED!”

“Grace was an absolute gem of a human on the day of my wedding and leading up to it. I can't get over how stunning the photos are just from the sneak peek gallery. She has such an eye for unique shots and is amazing at directing you as well as your overly-stimulated new husband.
