One example of how they went above and beyond was we had a decorative seating chart on a 69”X78” 20 paned glass window that they protected, transported and stored for us at their inconvenience. Furthermore, during the wedding reception not only did they make sure everything was perfect as we planned, but on the fly they used great judgement to make the reception better by tweaking the arrangement. As well, we had no worries once the wedding was over because we knew we could trust them to secure anything of value and what we owned, as well as what any vendor might of left behind. Even so far as to hold our possessions in their home until it was convenient for us to get them. We loved Maddy and Cass and highly recommend them as your wedding planners.”

“I hosted my daughter-in-laws Hundred Acre Wood themed baby shower brunch at Walden Country Club on 12/8/24. From the beginning and planning with Ilene Murphy everything went smoothly. She even gave me great recommendations for things which worked out well. On the day of the event, I was so delighted with the special creative touches. The sign for the shower had a Hundred Acre Wood map on it, the napkins were folded into tree shapes, and the juice bottles for the mimosa bar had Pooh characters on them. To top it off the food was delicious thanks to Alice and team and the service was impeccable. It was a magical day! Thanks to Ilene, Alice, Grace and the entire staff.”

“We had our wedding in the ballroom. Very scenic and beautiful venue! Overall a pretty good venue that includes food, tables, chairs, linens, etc. The ballroom house itself is beautiful with lots of light indoors due to the large windows, and a nice deck for an outside ceremony. Zoe communicated with us and answered all our questions and did our tasting and planning, until a week before the actual day where we were assigned a day of coordinator. I found this system to be not great, since the day of coordinator was essentially a stranger that you've never talked to at all, and you basically have to re explain everything you want. Even though they have an online planning tool (which is old and outdated), I found that they got our aisle directions wrong, the reception layout wrong, and our dinner meals were wrong. Thankfully, we had a separate planner that was able to correct these things, so I recommend getting an outside coordinator that works directly with you if you have room in the budget. Another thing was our limited setup time of 1.5 hours meaning the florist and other vendors couldn't set up earlier with more elaborate decorations and had to do something simple. I found out that this is because they had another wedding at the same place before ours (literally ending at 4) and so they rush to get the place cleaned for the evening wedding. The main room and the suit was renovated, but the bathrooms were all still dingy and not the best/cleanest to use. The food was good though, better than we had at our tasting and they got it out fast. Our vendors were fed the same food, and our guests thought it was pretty good wedding food. Apart from the couple hiccups we had, we thought the venue was great overall and really beautiful and we don't regret having our wedding there at all. It could be a little bit better in the small details for the price though.”

She helped us figure out our day of timeline and how photos would fit into it since we were planning on doing a first look and knocking out ALL of the immediate family portraits out of the way… and there were 140 photo combinations we wanted due to us both having 3 siblings each and divorced parents. Christa and her second photographer captured these photos ALL before the ceremony even started - plus a few additional photos we love but didn’t initially have on our shot list. We picked Christa based on her style and editing and we are more than pleased with the products. We have gotten back our full gallery and there are SO many photos - it’s going to be very difficult picking our favorites to hang around the house without overwhelming the walls . “Let's be real. Weddings are wonderful and powerful and amazing days, but they're also big balls of stress. The best advice I ever received was from a friend who said, "find the photographer who can capture the amazing intimate moments, but also the person who you'd want to be a fly on the wall for them." After all, you spend about as much time with your wedding photographer as you do with your new spouse. Bethany was perfect for us. She captured engagement photos so stunning, so authentic, that I wish we could get a new set every year for our family. She captured perfect (occasionally hilarious) moments at the wedding that I would have completely missed otherwise - the way a friend helped you relax by pressing down on your shoulders as you got ready, the way your cousins looked at each other during a wedding toast, the way the cabin looked, it was perfect.
