Featuring a working mill, blacksmith shop, active church, and several beautiful historic houses, Waterloo Village is a time capsule surrounded by an air of tranquil beauty. With its rich history, Waterloo Village is the perfect setting for weddings. Boasting two spectacular indoor event spaces—the newly-renovated meeting house and the rustic pavilion—in addition to its spacious outdoor compound, Waterloo has the resources and ambiance to make your special occasion a memorable success. As a remarkably well-preserved example of a 19th-Century canal town and the site of a 400-year-old Lenape Indian village, Waterloo Village is an incredibly valuable piece of New Jersey history. Waterloo is open to the public as part of Allamuchy Mountain State Park and home to many events and educational programs to teach and inform visitors about the past.
