“The Hall of Springs was an incredible venue for our wedding day. From the ease of communication with their team, to their diligent and effective coordination, they were truly accommodating and amazing to work with. The quality of their work and the value they provided was incredible - the space was grand, beautiful, and classy. The staff we worked with directly, Olivia, Alex and Natalie, were out of this world and we loved them dearly. “The wedding coordinators were the absolute best to work with! They were so professional and quick to respond with emails. We were very happy to have them the day of the wedding as they made everything run so smoothly! During cocktail hour Julie helped set up a small private table with appetizers for just the two of us. It was so nice to spend a few minutes as a newly married couple before making our entrance to the reception. The food was amazing, and both the ceremony and reception spaces were decorated better than I could’ve imagined. The cake was done by Debbie Coye and part of our package - not only was it gorgeous but it was also delicious! The staff were all professional and made sure we had everything that we needed. We are so glad we had our wedding at the Holiday Inn, it was truly the best day of our lives!”

“Weddings can be incredibly stressful and sometimes not go as you planned, but I can guarantee The Edison Downtown staff will make your special day the best wedding or event you’ve ever had. Jena, our wedding coordinator and Bylinda, the owner, truly went above and beyond any of my expectations for my wedding day. The attention to care to not only myself but all family members and party members was impeccable. The organization and leadership day of from Jena highly attributes to the perfection and smoothness of our wedding. She was there late the night before and there bright and early the day of to make sure everything we wanted was done correctly and done timely. She made sure to keep to our schedule and even if there were any bumps in our timeline, she handed it for us. She paid incredible attention to detail to both our wedding and after party, as we had a completely different themed event also at the venue slightly after our wedding ended. I’m sure this made it more difficult than usual for the staff, but Jena handled the organization of all of our decor and organization of the staff and people involved like a seasoned professional. The food from Season’s Catering was divine and some of the best food we can recall having at a wedding or other event in a very, very long time. Our guests cannot stop talking about how absolutely delicious all of the food was, how gorgeous and unique the venue was, and how it was one of the best weddings they have attended. From the bartender to the servers, everyone was so sweet and seemed so excited to be working our wedding day. I didn’t know exactly what to expect planning my first wedding, but was so thankful for having Bylinda and having Jena from the venue to handle everything. Any event at The Edison Downtown is worth every penny. We cannot thank everyone enough for all of the effort they put into our special day.”

“When we first booked Glen Sanders, someone told my mother that Glen Sanders runs like a well-oiled wedding machine. They were spot on. Glen Sanders knows weddings. Every vendor was thrilled to hear we were working with them. They made the entire process so easy, so clear. Maki, our bridal attendant, was INCREDIBLE. She greeted us off the bus with our champagne flutes, made sure I was hydrated all during photos, helped me with my dress, and brought me down my sneakers at the reception, among many other things. Glen Sanders also sets up all of your cocktail hour Hors d'œuvres in a separate room for you to eat before going to your reception, and it was the moment my husband and I needed to catch our breath and feel "present" for the rest of the night. People often say their wedding was a blur, but we remember every detail thanks to that moment to pause. As for the venue itself, all of our guests still talk about how great of a setup it was. We got ready on-site (groomsmen downstairs, bridesmaids upstairs, MOG got her hair done in the salon downstairs), our cocktail hour outside and on the enclosed porch, the reception in the ballroom, our after party in the basement bar (Speak-easy vibes!), and then we stayed up with close friends and siblings around the fire until the early hours before going to sleep in our rooms on-site! Glen Sanders is certainly a one-stop shop for everything, and their product is unparalleled. Thank you, GSM team, for the best night of our lives! -Elaina and Bill”

“We feel so lucky to have found the West Mountain Inn for our wedding. We first visited about a year before our wedding and immediately felt like it would be the perfect place for our special day. We were greeted by the resident golden retrievers, who followed us on our tour. If you’re a dog lover, you’ll be very happy with this venue! But really, it was Amie, Mary Beth and the rest of the staff who sold us. We immediately felt like they cared about making your day as perfect as possible for us, which was very welcome after touring other venues which felt like they wanted to squeeze every penny from us. After we decided on the venue, Amie was so willing to work with people like us who wanted to plan every detail possible. Amie answered all of my questions and sent additional information like floor plans so I could plan who was assigned to each room as soon as possible. Her communication over email was so incredible helpful! We absolutely loved that we could have so many guests staying at the inn and knew that would be perfect for our winter wedding. Next came our tasting, which was such a fun event. There are two tastings a year, both in March (though I think you could have a private tasting if you need). We loved being able to stay at the inn for a night and meet all of the other couples getting married here within the year. As our wedding was in February, we had to wait a long time between the tasting and trying the food again, and it absolutely didn’t disappoint! Chef Jeff did an amazing job with our welcome party, breakfast and lunch the day of the wedding, the absolutely amazing wedding dinner (and late night snacks), and brunch the next morning! We heard that most couples have a hard time eating during their weddings, but we cleaned our plates! Definitely try the butternut squash ravioli, it is incredible! We had our ceremony in the barn, then moved to the bar in the inn for cocktail hour, then dinner in the dining room, and dancing in the living room. They take out the big pieces of living room furniture and move some chairs to the side for dancing. A lot of my family was skeptical about that, but the inn knows what they’re doing!! The dance floor was plenty big for our party of 60 (and I’m sure it could have accommodate larger groups), and the chairs on the sides were a huge hit! It was incredible to be able to sit down for a minute and still feel like you’re a part of the party. I know a lot of our guests enjoyed that as well. We got ready in the Norman Rockwell suite, which worked out well since we had a small bridal party. We also loved getting to see all the rooms in the inn - every room is thought out so well and has little details that are so fun to find! We thought the inn was what made our wedding weekend so magical and cannot wait to visit again on anniversaries or other special occasions. Thank you so much to the entire team - we are so grateful to you!”

“My wedding experience at Birch Hill was incredible, and I owe so much of that to Serena and her amazing team! We started the booking process in early March, hoping for a September/October wedding date, and thankfully found one that worked. Serena was an absolute goddess from start to finish—she gave us a thorough tour of all the location options, answered every question, and made the entire process feel effortless. We knew almost immediately that no other venue would compare! Since we were on a tight timeline, I reached out to Serena frequently with questions, and she always responded promptly and thoroughly. By our 90-day planning meeting, we were already so comfortable with everything, and Serena guided us seamlessly through food choices (of which there were so many!) and other details. Her expertise really shone through when I wasn’t sure about certain things; she made it all so simple and stress-free. On the big day, I felt so confident in Serena and her team—it was like everything was taken care of before I could even think about it. I truly felt like I had nothing to worry about and could be fully present in every moment, which made the day even more magical. They thought of every detail, big and small, allowing me to simply enjoy and soak it all in. Speaking of the food—it was hands down the best meal I’ve ever had! We chose the Cocktail Style package and went with a wide range of options, including crispy calamari with lemon-garlic aioli, French onion soup, cider bacon-wrapped chicken, pulled pork wonton bites, and mini grilled cheeses with tomato soup shooters, among others. Every single bite was phenomenal! The prime rib was cooked to perfection, and the mashed potato bar and pasta station were crowd favorites. Our guests raved about the gourmet French fry station that we had later in the night. While we handpicked the items, I genuinely believe that anything else on their menu would have been just as amazing—the quality and flavors were out of this world. At the end of the night, everything was packed up perfectly and already in my car before I even stopped partying! If I had to give any constructive feedback, it would be about the bridal suite. It was a very warm day for late September, and the air conditioning hadn’t been turned on before we arrived, so the suite was quite hot initially. Other than that, our ceremony by the pond was absolutely beautiful. While the mosquitos and some goose droppings were a minor annoyance, the setting was otherwise perfect and so romantic. All in all, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Serena’s commitment and attention to detail made our wedding truly unforgettable!”

“When we first toured the Carriage House as a potential venue, it was a snowy January day (the opposite of the June wedding day we were touring for) but we could see the vision of space and fell in love with it. Keilana and Dawn were so easy to work with from the initial tour all the way through to picking up our stuff the day after the wedding. They were always available to answer any of our questions, no matter how small. They broke down the planning into parts, so it never felt overwhelming and they were always very clear about what information they needed and when. From the tasting day where we got to imagine how the space would be set up for our wedding, to the final walk through where we went through every detail of the wedding day, Keilana and Dawn were professional and enthusiastic, and we knew that our wedding was in good hands. Having the reception at the Carriage House meant many of our out of state guests were staying at the hotel which made the weekend even more fun, continuously running into people we knew throughout the weekend! Our guests raved about the beautiful cocktail hour outside, the lake views from the reception space, the delicious food, and that even with 200 people there was never a line at the bar when guests went to get a drink! The entire reception ran so smoothly, and we had an amazing time. We could not have picked a better location for our wedding reception, and we would highly recommend the Carriage House at Fort William Henry to other couples!! Thank you, Keilana and Dawn! “We had a truly beautiful 95-guest wedding in August 2025 at Mount Snow. The ceremony was in the Wedding Garden, a semi-last-minute change that we decided on and they accommodated us easily. Our reception was at Carinthia Lodge, and we did our first look photos on the mountain top. We also had a welcome reception the evening before at the golf club (which happens to be the spot where we got engaged!). Everything was dreamy- it's the best word to describe it all. The entire team worked so hard to make our day perfect and it was! Our coordinator Stacy worked within our budget and helped us find flexible food and beverage options for each of our events. I also have pretty strict dietary restrictions and they made me the perfect meal for the reception. I had only seen Carinthia Lodge during ski season and was completely in awe at how elegant and refined it looked for our reception. It was the perfect space! There was even a room where we could chill out for a few minutes in private, change into my cocktail dress, practice our dance one last time, and just have a quiet moment. The day went off without a hitch and we had such a fantastic time. Our guests had a wonderful time, too. Our day was magical and unforgettable. Everyone on staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and we really felt cared for. We could not have asked for more!”

“This venue was perfect from start to finish. This hotel/venue has beautiful sweeping Hudson river views. This is a dog friendly venue. It is also only a 25 minute drive from local Albany airport. The venue has a modern industrial vibe. Aaron, Laura and the whole Wire team were very accommodating and kind from day one. This venue is all inclusive. We were were able to book hotel blocks for our guests. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern. We were able to stay in the bridal suite (Heron Suite) for a total of three nights. This room is beautiful, it has a large 4 poster bed, sitting room and huge bathroom with large walk in shower. We had our rehearsal dinner at the Patrick Henry ( one of their restaurants on site), which is adjacent to the venue property. The food was delicious and gave off a casual vibe for out of town guests as they were arriving. The day of the wedding the bride and groom have their own beautiful getting ready rooms. The bridal getting ready room had a lot of natural light and salon style chairs for hair and makeup. The morning after the wedding we had our brunch at the Day line Roof top bar, which is another restaurant on the property. The food was a delicious breakfast buffet.
