I'm a California native with a wanderlusting soul. I grew up in the snowy mountains of Lake Tahoe and spent my teenage years in the rainforests of Costa Rica before returning to the West Coast of the United States to study the art of wedding photography and earn my BFA with Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California.

We started off as a duo of quirky plastic artists who wanted to try something new - capturing weddings in a unique way that combined truthfulness and creativity. Fast forward 15 years and many, many amazing weddings later, and we're still just as nervous and excited before each event as we were on day one. I guess it means we still care! Hi There! I'm Katherine (or Kay!). I've loved weddings for as long as I could remember and I believe I have one of the best jobs in the whole world. I love being able to capture moments from one of the best days of a couples lives and I get to do it alongside my best friend, my Husband. You could call us nerds; we love Harry Potter, puzzles and video games. Our favorite vacation spot is definitely Las Vegas and we both love good Mexican food. We have two fur babies; Bella and Betsy and yes they are so spoiled. The Husband, Abraham (or Bram) is also an engineer when he's not capturing weddings and a Cal Poly alum.
