I first picked up a camera in high school and was instantly obsessed with the process and possibilities of capturing images. I went on to study at The San Francisco Art Institute and transferred to The Art Center, College of Design in Pasadena, earning a BFA in Photography. I began my career as a photographer in a Los Angeles product photo studio. While working there, I found I had a talent for photo retouching. I worked as a professional retoucher for many years and know what many celebrities really look like hah! I made my way back to freelance photography after having my daughter in 2013.

I'm not just a wedding photographer, I'm a storyteller. For over 10 years, I've been weaving tales through vibrant images, capturing those unscripted moments that make your love story truly magical. I'm a light chaser, master retoucher, and hopeless romantic who secretly loves a dash of fantasy. I like to think of myself as a time-traveling artist, preserving your love's beauty for generations to come.     Would 100% book again, customized and artistic!

    We LOVED working with Gennan. Out photos are spectacular, abundant and just what we hoped for. I love that she schedules a call with you to discuss your style and vibes, to get to know you a bit. She was responsive through email prior to the big day, and I was so impressed she even brought some of the inspo pics I had sent for us to recreate. She was very professional while being easy and fun to shoot with! She even resent some photos that were B&W that we wanted in color. Edits were lovely. Now our only problem is trying to choose from so many favorites.

Typically, couples book me about 3-12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal for 15 images per hour of photography.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. I am happy to refer some very talented videographers.
Within 3 days of the your wedding I will deliver a “Sneak Peek” gallery: 15-30 highlight image to hold you over until your full gallery is complete. My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your full gallery of downloadable photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding, so you can share your photos with loved ones and order prints. You will also receive an online custom slideshow set to the song of your choice. You can then expect to receive a USB drive with the high-resolution image files and a copy of your slideshow, so you will have everything backed up all in one place.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my 12 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues. I’ll provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so we can work together to find the perfect replacement.
I can add a second (or third) associate photographer depending on the size of your wedding and the amount of coverage that you want.
