    The Absolute BEST Choice

    If you are reading this review, you must be considering ByCherry Photography for your event. Don’t waste anymore time; especially if your wedding will be in Santa Barbara. SHE is the best choice. She knows the Santa Barbara Courthouse like the back of her hand. Our Mural Room photos could not be more beautiful. From the very first query, we felt relief. She responded quickly to questions and concerns. Her website is easy to navigate and informative. Cherry was so easy to work with and so accommodating.     Amazing photographer. Highly recommend!

    Cherry is AWESOME! She is not only professional, but was so fun to have as the photographer for our wedding. She has a creative vision and eye for photos that only comes naturally. She had so many great ideas for our wedding photos and engagement photos. I am so happy to have had her capture our special day. I would highly recommend her. We are so happy with Cherry's work that we have booked her for our maternity photo session coming up in October.

    THE one!

    I recommend ByCherryPhotography for the ease of stress when it comes to planning a wedding. I knew I didn’t have to worry about my photographer having to capture the “right” moments or intruding on special experiences. Just looking at her her photo gallery and reading other reviews, it told me she was THE one! I love my wedding photos! If I could get married again I would! Just to have more beautiful and amazing memories!

    Fabulous Santa Barbara Wedding Photographer!

    I can't say enough good things about Cherry! As a wedding officiant, I always tell my couples that Cherry is like a butterfly - she takes photos without you even noticing she's doing it. Because of that, the marriage ceremonies are intimate. She knows every nook and cranny of the historic Santa Barbara Courthouse and all the best beaches. Cherry has taken gorgeous photos in most very venue in town and the Santa Ynez Valley, and when I learn she will be the photographer at one of my weddings I always congratulate the couples on a fabulous choice. Cherry's super fun and chill - you can't go wrong!

Typically, couples book me about 8-12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
My turnaround time varies by season and type. Typically, for small elopements, 2-3 weeks but for larger weddings you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive an online gallery with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them. It usually is a 24-48 hour turnover.
In my 12 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
Depending on the package you choose. Larger weddings have an additional photographer alongside me. Smaller elopements do not.

Unlike most photographers who start out with family portraits and expand into weddings when they feel more comfortable with their skills, I started out shooting weddings from the beginning. After finishing photography school, weddings were my main field of focus.
My style is photojournalist. I love documenting the day as it unfolds and capturing joy! Of course, I will photograph portraits and details but my main focus is to capture emotion of the day.
Yes! You can either order prints through me or choose a lab of your preference. But I do not guarantee the quality of the images when they are printed at a consumer lab.

I do! For elopements, I love the Santa Barbara Courthouse! Lush green grounds and historic Spanish architecture is unbeatable! For bigger wedding celebrations I'm a fan of the SB Zoo, Santa Barbara Club, and the Riviera Mansion.
I do! I offer 2 lines of albums. One is an archival, highly customizable album with a variety of cover options, page counts, and sizes. I also offer a more affordable line of album that is more standardized in appearance (but is super cute)!
Yes, I do! Having worked in this awesome industry for 15 years I've worked with almost everybody multiple times. Just ask and I'll let you know who will contribute to a flawless wedding day!
I archive the RAW files for about 2 years and then after that point I may delete them for more storage space. BUT I've never deleted a JPG that was delivered to a client! I keep 2 external hard drives of all my shoots, located in separate locations as well a cloud version.
