The Best Latin American Wedding Catering in San Dimas, CA

“I don't even remember how many came up to me at the wedding to compliment the food, but it was a lot. They all started with “usually wedding food isn’t great, but ALL of the food has been so good.” ALSO, when we sat down for dinner Felicia brought us a plate of apps because we were too busy during cocktail hour to have any and she wanted to make sure we got some too. I loved that so much, just so thoughtful. So thank you Fusion catering for a great wedding experience.”

The Kookery LLC

Rating: 4.8 (17 reviews)

“How can I even begin to describe the greatness that is Chef Shieya and the Kookery and how wonderful she made our wedding?! It started off with planning mode. With an American and a Brazilian getting married, we wanted to have a dish from each culture to make it special for our guests. With a sea bass dish and the steak picanha, everyone could choose. The sous vide steak was so tender, cooked to perfection, the color on it so beautiful, it was the winner. We had a few vegans at the party, and she took care of them ahead of time and knew exactly where they were sitting and who they were. And as always, Chef wanted to kick it up a notch, so she got some black truffles to really make the dishes pop. The full course meal from the watermelon salad to squid ink pasta to the main courses to the wedding cake she made herself was decadent, super tasty, and plated like a million dollars. Aside from the food being perfect, Chef Shieya and the Kookery team delivered a professional experience like no other. From setup to breakdown, they had it handled to where we didn't have to worry at all. The team arrived early in the morning. We went up to go get ready and change for the wedding party, and by the time we came back down they were already completely set up and serving guests. There are so many attention to detail things we didn't even think of, nor did we have to because they already knew what we needed, even though we didn't. So many touches that just made everything run so smoothly. We didn't have to do a thing, and all the guests were taken care of. People still talk about how good our wedding reception food was, saying it was the best they've ever had, better than the regular boring standard food at other weddings. Our special day was made so much more magical because of Shieya and her team. She does everything only to perfection, and even goes a step further to make it personal and unforgettable. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

“Since our venue did not have a preferred vendor list or a built-in catering team, we were given maximum flexibility (which is also intimidating, as the choice and freedom can be a bit overwhelming). To help narrow things down, our planner prompted us to choose a single type of cuisine that we like, and work from there. We both love New Orleans / Cajun cuisine, so enter My House. From their first proposal, we were all in. It featured childhood favorites like fried catfish, and out-of-the-ordinary passed appetizers like mini chicken & waffles. Our first calls with them were relaxed, collaborative and informative. Our first tasting, while kinda pricey (isn't everything?), went really well - and gave us a chance to provide more feedback and tweaks, which were promptly applied to later estimates and menus. As our planning evolved, it was a little tough to try to keep the budget in check, and it meant making some tough calls to cut costs (for instance - jettisoning late night bites), My House was always willing to work with both us and our planner on finding financial solutions - but there were a few moments where we felt like we didn't know what to expect, and stressed out a bit when we saw the latest numbers. I suppose this is part of the process for lots of couples. I never lost faith that they'd turn it out on the big day, and I'm happy to share that they did just that. They created an incredibly tasteful display for our buffet, which struck a balance between rustic and elegant. The staff was helpful, efficient, and professional - but I want to give special highlight to Simone. Simone was personable, diligent and intuitive. She knows exactly what she's doing, any couple would be very lucky to have her running any aspect of their event - because she does it with aplomb. The food was absolutely delicious. Big, bold flavors - zesty, crunchy, creamy, smoky, cheesy, sweet and spicy and everything in between . We loved hosting such a delectable menu that departed from the traditional wedding fare, but stayed true to the cuisine of New Orleans and the tastes of Southern comfort. So, so, so, so good!”

“Fuegos LA was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding catering. From the very first interaction, their communication was fast, detailed, and friendly. The level of professionalism they demonstrated was truly impressive - not only was the food amazing, but they went above and beyond to accommodate our menu needs, even adjusting their cook process on the fly when the weather turned colder to ensure all of our guests' meals stayed hot. “We were introduced to Buddha Boy Tacos through a friend who had them cater their wedding, and we’re so glad we took the recommendation. From the start, we were impressed by their menu, especially the variety of vegetarian and vegan taco fillings. Buddha Boy delivered premium service every step of the way. They were responsive, professional, and communicative, always quick to reply or thoughtful enough to let us know when they’d follow up soon. On the day of the wedding, they were efficient, warm, and completely reliable. They set up two lines for faster service, treated our guests with such kindness, and helped create a joyful, welcoming atmosphere. They coordinated seamlessly with our other vendors and ensured everyone was well-fed and on schedule. The food itself was a massive hit-guests raved to us, unprompted, that it was the best meal they’d ever had at a wedding. From appetizers to entrees and desserts, everything was delicious. We can’t wait to have them cater another event and enjoy their food all over again!”

Summit Event Catering

“We got married in Long Beach, CA on 10/12/24 and all of our guests said Summit's food was THE BEST they had ever been served at wedding! I cannot recommend Summit Event Catering more! Pamela Aki especially was fantastic to work with. We chose the plated option for a guest count of just under 160 guests. We found the prices to be reasonable as compared to other vendors, and the quality of the menu, ingredients, and overall taste to be outstanding! Additionally, Summit allowed us to make several reasonable alterations to our chosen package, which we were really grateful for, due to several guest allergies, etc! Pam was incredibly communicative throughout our entire working relationship and we are so grateful. She made the process so easy! On our wedding day, everything went smoothly and the Summit staff was fantastic. We look back at the catering portion of our wedding with fond memories. Thank you Summit & Pam!”

Hearth Restaurant & Catering

Rating: 4.8 (101 reviews)

“From our first conversation, the team at Hearth Restaurant & Catering made us feel confident about our choice. They collaborated with us to create a menu that felt personal to us and our day. They asked for our tastes and preferences and designed three pizzas just for us! Once the wedding day arrived, the charcuterie they prepared for cocktail hour was fantastic and set the perfect tone for the reception and dinner to follow. While it was table dismissal for our guests, their staff went above and our wedding party got served table-side! This ended up being one of our favorite parts of the evening as it meant we could sit back and really enjoy so many fun moments together with those closest to us! Every dish tasted incredible and the whole experience felt like they genuinely cared about making our day special. Nomada is boutique taco catering service based in Irvine specializing in traditional yet modern Mexican cuisine. We are passionate about quality ingredients, exquisite presentation and unparalleled service.

“If you're planning a wedding and wanting to do something truly AMAZING with your catering, then quit scrolling and reach out to NOMADA right now! If that one sentence doesn't pull you in, let us explain how everything went down for us! We reached out to NOMADA through email and had the absolute pleasure of working with Laura who was super professional, helpful, and always coming up with ways to make our event even better! We got to meet her and the NOMADA team in person at our tasting and it was WONDERFUL! They let us try everything (which we recommend going with an absolutely empty stomach because you're gonna want to try EVERYTHING)! We fell in love with all of the food (especially the Chilean Sea bass tacos--YUMMM!) and we were already tailoring what we would want for our wedding menu! After the tasting, we signed a contract that they really helped tailor towards our event and make sure that everything was covered (i.e. mobile kitchens, chips and salsa, servers, etc.). After that, we had to wait a few months until the event (just DREAMING of eating their delicious food) and all during that time, they answered all of our questions and made sure we felt taken care of! When it was finally time for our wedding... NOMADA WAS INCREDIBLE! So many of our guests told us they were some of the best tacos/food they have EVER had at a wedding before! They also couldn't stop talking about how nice and helpful the team of servers were! Overall, the whole team SMASHED IT out of the park in every sense and we truly couldn't have been more thankful them! Overall, the food was delicious, the service was efficient and so personable, and all of their attention to detail throughout the whole planning process was unmatched. Our guests felt so taken care of and well fed as everyone went back for seconds (and possibly thirds)! They are worth every single penny! Now quit reading this long review and book them because they are the absolute best! :D”

“We had above all cater our sons wedding. I wish I could give them another 10 stars. First of all the staff made sure the Bride, Groom and wedding party had food and drinks while they were taking their photos after the ceremony. Something that didn't even occur to me. The staff was friendly and polite and very attentive to all the guests needs. The passed appetizers were amazing. The food was absolutely delicious. Not your typical wedding food. They listened carefully to all my needs and provided thoughtful suggestions that made the entire process stress-free. The team at Glad Mouf truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for my special day. The food was absolutely incredible! The oxtail was tender and flavorful, cooked to perfection with a rich, savory sauce that had just the right amount of seasoning. Every bite was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The crab fried rice was another standout—packed with juicy crab meat and a delicious combination of flavors. It was the perfect balance of savory and just the right amount of richness. I’ve had many versions of crab fried rice, but this one was top-tier. As for the overall experience, the quality and value of their work were exceptional. The portions were generous, and the food was served fresh and hot, even though they were catering to a large crowd. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing the food was. Chef Anna Masteller

“We called Chef Anna “the Zen Chef” because she radiated calm and warmth every time she cooked or dropped off meals. On our wedding day, she was the one vendor who was fully calm, centered, and confident, an incredibly grounding presence for everyone. We had six meals with her, from the welcome dinner to brunches, reception, and an unforgettable late-night spread. She handled everything; shopping, cooking, cleanup and made us feel deeply cared for as a family during our long wedding weekend on Figure Eight Island, NC. Aside from cooking, which she obviously loves, she said her favorite part of her business is helping people make the most of their time together, and that was absolutely true for us. It felt like we bought the gift of time, which is priceless. And we can’t stop talking about the food. Literally better than any restaurant, truly. As a group of well-traveled foodies, that says a lot. Thank you, Chef Anna, for becoming one of our favorite core memories. We’ve already booked her for our anniversary trip to Wrightsville Beach next year.”
