“We couldn’t have asked for a better venue than Union Depot for our wedding. The venue manager was clear, communicative, and flexible throughout the planning process. She helped us with deadlines, floor plan adjustments, parking validations, access to getting-ready spaces, and being on-site the day of to support with our wedding coordinator. We also appreciated how affordable the venue and getting ready spaces cost for our budget. The venue itself was beautiful, and it was a relief to do a final walkthrough and drop off decorations the day before the event. The Waiting Room setup with digital signage, pipe and drape made it easy for guests to know where to go, and Union Depot offered stunning indoor and outdoor photo options, which was especially important given the unpredictability of the weather conditions. We can’t wait to visit Union Depot in the future to hop on the train/bus and reminisce on our wedding day there.”

“We truly could not have asked for a more perfect wedding venue or experience. The venue itself was absolutely stunning - intimate, beautiful, and the perfect backdrop for both our celebration and our photos. Brad also served as our MC and did an amazing job keeping the energy up and the party going all night. The photos they captured are absolutely breathtaking and are memories we will cherish forever. “We had our wedding here and overall had a beautiful experience! The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and really speaks for itself—you truly don’t need to do much decorating to make it feel special. There are beautiful outdoor spaces, plenty of room for guests, and so many great spots for photos. We loved having so many options for both our wedding party and couple portraits. The downstairs getting-ready area is also very spacious, which was a huge plus for our wedding party. One thing to note is that the bridal suite only had a refrigerator, while the groom’s suite did not have one. For food, we ended up choosing the pasta bar. It was good and worked well for our guests, although it wasn’t necessarily the standout part of the meal. We originally considered the beef and chicken options, but after our tastings, we weren’t as impressed with those options and ultimately felt the pasta bar was the better choice for us. One of the biggest conveniences is that the venue can provide a large majority of what you need, which made planning easier. However, I would recommend comparing prices and asking questions about what is included, as some of the add-ons can be quite expensive. We also experienced some confusion throughout the planning process about what was and wasn’t included/provided for certain items. We worked with three different wedding coordinators during the process, so I think some of that may have been due to the coordinator transitions rather than the venue itself. That said, having everything clearly outlined in writing would have made the planning process much easier. We also want to give a huge shoutout to DJ Rick! He was fantastic to work with, very accommodating to some of the fun little requests we had, and did an amazing job keeping the energy up throughout the night. He kept our dance floor going and was a definite highlight of the reception! One other thing we would recommend to future couples is taking the website information with a grain of salt. The venue has changed and updated quite a bit, and we noticed that some of the photos and tour information online were outdated. The venue is even more beautiful in person, but the outdated information did make it a little confusing when trying to plan our décor and envision the space. Overall, we absolutely loved our wedding day and are so happy we chose this venue. There are a few things we would recommend future couples ask about and clarify during the planning process, but the beauty of the venue, the space, the photo opportunities, and the overall experience made it a wonderful place to celebrate our wedding. We would definitely recommend taking a tour and seeing it in person!”

“We had the most incredible day at The Wexford at Emerald Greens, and we owe so much of that to Val and Jen. From our first conversations through the big day, they were quick to respond and treated us like friends rather than just another booking, which made planning feel so personal. The venue itself is absolutely stunning with soaring ceilings and windows that flood the space with light, and we loved every second on the outdoor patio and ceremony area. They went above and beyond to make our day special—from the waterfall ceremony space to golf cart rides that took us to scenic spots for photos. The team was flexible with our requests and made sure we had everything we needed. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or a more caring group of people to work with.”

“The Mendakota Country Club is a beautiful venue and we had the vision for how beautiful the course would be in the early fall for our wedding when we toured in the dead of winter!! Our photos throughout the day in multiple locations throughout the venue are stunning with beautiful greenery and waterfronts. MCC checked every box for what we looked for in a venue, including (but not limited to): the opportunity for an outdoor ceremony and flexibility in having both indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the event including cocktail hour, onsite getting ready spaces, onsite catering with a variety of dinner options and a cohesive, one-level space (helpful and easy for family members with physical mobility issues) Adena was very responsive and by the end of our year and a half engagement, had responded to 200 emails, discussing details and answering questions for our big day! Jessica and Adena in partnership with our Day of Coordinator were able to manage many moving pieces and make our big day come together beautifully, and the waitstaff and barstaff were wonderful to work with. While we had a good experience overall with MCC, there were two day-of notes that did detract from our Big Day: We were told that the staff will “stop golfers” from teeing off at certain holes during the ceremony, however we had numerous golfers walk right behind our officiant during the ceremony and even one golfer approximately 15 feet from us saying our vows yelling to someone in the parking lot. While we understand it is a country club/golf course first and foremost, MCC charges couples a 1,200 onsite ceremony fee that should come with the expectations of no members on the first few holes of the course during the ceremony. During the reception, the temperature was not well maintained and by the time the dance floor was fully opened, all guests were profusely sweating. While there were industrial fans to help keep the room cool, it was not as effective as we would have liked, especially during an unseasonably warm day in mid-September.”

In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

“Our wedding at Hope Glen was absolutely beautiful. Michael and Paula have done a wonderful job making the property look nice and have great staff. The treehouse was amazing to be able to stay in the night of and we will absolutely be going back sometime. The only thing that came up was the girl who did our morning orientation did a very poor job. She was young and didn't really seem to know what she was talking about, and left us with little to no helpful information day of. There were a few things, such as the hanging basket that she wouldn't have even told us how to do if we didn't ask, which isn't helpful because we don't know the venue like she does. Ultimately, I would absolutely go back if I could! I look forward to reliving the memories everytime I drive by!!”

“Hyland Hills is a beautiful wedding venue!! The floor to ceiling windows and gorgeous ski hill are a great backdrop and it was so nice to have the option of indoor ceremony or outdoor ceremony. We paid for their day-of coordinator service and were blown away by how easy Gabby made the day. We had a few meetings with her before the wedding and felt that every detail was thoroughly addressed. We did feel that renting chairs for the ceremony was necessary so we didn't have to worry about setup and tear down and would recommend budgeting for that ( 1,500 for 215 chairs). We loved having our wedding at Hyland Hills and would absolutely recommend the venue and their day-of coordination service!”

The food was great (we got the Squash Ravioli and Steak) and many guests said it was the best wedding food they have ever had! Every corner of the house and yard has another great photo spot, so our pictures turned out AMAZING! I would recommend this venue to anyone who is into the vintage vibe, and wants a special day that allows you to actually talk to every guest- it felt like we threw a big house party! Special shoutout to doorman Danny, we loved him!”

“Our wedding at Le Venerè was truly a dream come true. From the moment we first saw the venue, we knew it was something incredibly special, and it ended up being everything we could have hoped for and more. The space itself is absolutely STUNNING. The chandeliers, the architecture, the elegance of the entire venue — it created the most beautiful and romantic atmosphere for our wedding day. We wanted a venue that felt timeless, elegant, and magical, and Le Venerè was exactly that. Our guests could not stop talking about how gorgeous it was! One of our favorite things about Le Venerè was how perfectly the space flowed throughout the entire day. We were able to have our ceremony there, transition seamlessly into cocktail hour, and then move into dinner and dancing without ever losing the magic of the space. Every part of the day felt distinct while still feeling cohesive, and we loved that our guests were able to experience everything the venue had to offer. Our ceremony was beautiful, cocktail hour felt so elegant, dinner was absolutely magical under the chandeliers, and then the space transformed into the perfect place to celebrate and dance the night away. It truly gave us everything we wanted for our wedding in one incredible location. Le Venerè will always hold such a special place in our hearts because it was the setting where we officially began our marriage and created some of our favorite memories together. When we look back at our wedding photos, we are still blown away by how beautiful everything was. If you're looking for a wedding venue that feels romantic, elegant, timeless, and completely unforgettable, we cannot recommend Le Venerè enough. It was our absolute dream venue, and we are so grateful that we got to celebrate one of the most important days of our lives there.”

“We enjoyed an amazing wedding experience using the dazzling Olympic Hills golf club venue for our 120 guest wedding in July. The venue itself is exceptionally well-maintained and provided a beautiful backdrop to our happy guests. We enjoyed our wedding service on their outside private deck with customized lighting and organized, comfortable seating. We enjoyed a sumptuous and flavorful Italian buffet, and the Olympic Hills team, including event planner Emily, gave us and our guests superior service. Emily is particularly thorough, extremely well organized, communicative and proactive. Their staff were able to handle specific dietary restrictions and allowed us to bring in commercially licensed appetizers and desserts, and wine of our choice (with acork fee), all providing money saving opportunities on our very small and stringent budget. Despite the fact that we had a very tight budget which they helped us accommodate, I cannot express how thankful I am for Emily, especially being able to coordinate with our vendors to ensure we had a memorable and fabulous celebration. To have access to this kind of glamorous venue without being a club member was invaluable, and we were treated with kindness and respect. I highly recommend for any event and especially a wedding, your guest will feel privileged and happy and as a bride or groom, you will be so relieved at the ease and beauty.”

“There are not enough words to even describe how perfect our wedding day was at The Wilds. From the beginning, the customer service, communication and professionalism was phenomenal. When we booked with the venue, they were going through ownership changes and some of the staff changed, including the event coordinator. Kimberly was the new one that was hired and she is absolutely AMAZING! She went above and beyond for us on our day, our original contract didn't include food/drinks day of, but she added it on for us (which is so so awesome), the venue staff helped a little bit day of to make sure everything looked the way we wanted it to and they were the most friendly staff members through the entire day. We did a plated dinner for our meal and we wouldn't have changed that at all. Everyone who was at the wedding only had great things to say about it, they wish they could've had more! Wait and bar staff at the Wilds is superb! After the last song was played at the end of the night, the staff was really helpful and getting our things organized so we could just load up our trailer and be gone very quickly. I can't stress enough how amazing everyone on staff at The Wilds is. The space is absolutely beautiful for photos too. The new renovations inside make it just STUNNING! They are also very helpful and open to letting you use any space for photos on the golf course as well. Can we talk about how stunning the entrance fountain is too?! Kimberly shared with us the next day that as the ceremony was happening, all of her staff watched through the window and were crying because it was such a beautiful day, to me, that means so much. What event staff cares that much about their bride and groom that they watch the entire ceremony with so much emotion!? Just amazing. Overall, if you are looking for a one stop shop for your wedding and want a beautiful venue space to have it at...look no further than The Wilds. They will exceed your expectations and go above and beyond anything you could ever imagine. I had a lot of family help set up the reception space the morning of and they all told me the staff was so easy to work with and they were super super helpful. Thank you Kimberly and The Wilds staff for the most perfect day ever, I wouldn't have changed a thing!! We are looking forward to coming back on our anniversary and having dinner! 3”

“We were so pleased that we selected Campus Club for our October 2019 wedding. From the first email inquiry we sent to the Campus Club, we were impressed with the diligence, competence, and experience of the staff. The space worked well for us and our guests. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out - the terrace, the dining room, the lounge area, and the bar. We had a variety to guests from kids to my 90 year old grandparents and everyone was comfortable. The views are stunning from every single one of the spaces! We had hoped that our ceremony would be on the terrace but it was unseasonably cold (and snowing) on our wedding day so we ended up having it indoors. We were initially disappointed but it worked out great to have guests sit at the dining tables and was really pretty. The space is nicely finished and requires very little decor to look pretty for a wedding - we only did centerpieces and cafe lighting and it looked great! This saved us a bunch of money too. The food was excellent and all of our guests’ dietary limitations were accommodated. Leading up to our wedding, we worked mostly with Jenn who is very organized and responsive and takes care of all the details we hadn’t thought of. She responded to every one of our (million) questions right away. On the day of our wedding, the managers and staff made everything run absolutely perfectly. These people really know what they’re doing. We couldn’t be happier about our wedding day. Thanks Campus Club! Even 5 years later, I'd choose Campus Club again and again. 5/5!”
