“When we started wedding planning, we knew finding a “one stop shop” sort of venue was going to be our best bet. We toured a couple venues from another well known company and some Wedgewood properties, and ultimately decided that Wedgwood Aliso Viejo best fit our needs. From our first meeting all the way to the day of (16 months later), we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Breanna and Sierra were exceptional planners and their meetings with us leading up to the wedding really made us feel like we didn't have anything to worry about. I’m a very type-A person and I never felt like I was asking for too much. We had all of our questions answered and had pleasant interactions with Kimberlyn as well. On the day of, Sierra, Lily and DJ Rachel were extremely attentive, communicative and overall on top of everything. I appreciate that we were able to call, text and email any questions we had at any time and heard back from the Wedgewood team in a very timely manner. Of all of our wedding week events, we had the least concerns about the wedding day and everything ran smoothly and to our liking. We have been receiving tons of compliments about how the staff were running a tight ship and that we didn't have to worry about anything because it all was taken care of. I am very big on customer service and we have not heard a single negative comment from any of our guests. The only hiccups with our wedding were issues with outside vendors that the Wedgewood team helped us address. The vibes were great, the food was amazing, we even had good compliments about the bartender being very cool and making amazing drinks. We really could not have imagined our special day any better than it turned out and we are so incredibly grateful to all of the Wedgewood Aliso Viejo for making it all happen!”

Why you'll love this venue

  • Historic touches
  • Classic elegance
  • Accommodates more than 200 guests

Venue considerations

  • No on-premises lodging options
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Couple must handle cleanup and setup
“When we first saw Union Station listed on here, we actually thought it was a scam post but as it turns out - YES you can actually get married in Union Station, with several different venue options costing varying amounts. We chose the Fred Harvey room for our wedding, which was easily the most complimented part of our day. It's such an amazing, historic space, and all the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. Now the cons: there are a few required inclusions (security team, valet service, fire marshal checks) that you have to acquire through them - and those costs add up quickly from the price of the actual space rental. The valet company in particular was an insanely high initial quote, but fortunately they did negotiate a drop. Because it's not a dedicated wedding venue, they also don't provide any guidance with vendors (which means you bring everything in yourself), and because it's a protected space, there are a lot of regulations on what can and can't be done (as of Summer 2025, you basically can't use the kitchen for any actual cooking). Even with the drawbacks, we'd probably still do it all over again. It was an exceptionally cool, beautiful experience, and it turned out some AMAZING photos, just make sure you ask a lot of questions up front!”

“I have always dreamed of getting married at the Millwick and now that the day has passed it was an incredible venue for our wedding. From the very beginning, their communication was direct, clear, and easy - they were always responsive to our questions and available to help. The quality of their work was absolutely beautiful. I found it easiest to work with vendors that have previously worked there as they knew how each other operates and it made everything run smoothly especially when it comes to a planner and catering. The venue itself was stunning, and their team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding experience, and we highly recommend Millwick to any couples searching for the perfect venue.”

“Heritage Park and Clarke estate are two hidden gem venues I love telling future clients about along with friends and family. Working there as a preferred vendor for nearly 5 years now has been a great experience as a vendor and for my clients as well. Working together with a venue to ensure the couples day is going well without a hitch is very important and let me tell you Leanne and her staff consistently work together and hard to make sure of that. Not only are both venues historic they're also affordable. That is a perfect combination for a venue Especially when people need to accommodate large guests 200-300 guests. Highly recommend both venues I do work more at heritage Park since their guest capacity is 300 but I always look forward to working with Leanne. Always a great experience.”

“The most important thing to me when planning my wedding was the quality of the food. I wanted my guests to leave saying it was one of the best meals they'd ever had. I am a wedding vendor and I know that large catered meals are usually blah at best. I got exactly what I wanted at Redbird. The food was AMAZING and their event spaces are gorgeous. Everything else was okay. The information we received at the initial walk-through ended up being less-than-accurate. It's frustrating that there is no real holding space for the smaller spaces when there are multiple events happening at the same time unless you pay for them. It's frustrating that *despite asking before signing a contract and being told it would be fine*, we were not allowed to take photos in any other areas of the building except the one we rented. There were often huge delays in responses to emails. They lost the bottle of wine we specifically requested to take home for our first anniversary (and which we were, of course, billed for). But overall, the food made the frustration worth it.”
