“I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but after my experience with Maison D Events and Hospitality, I felt like they truly deserved one. From the first conversation all the way through the end of the event, everything was handled with so much professionalism, care, and attention to detail. Planning an event can be stressful, especially when you’re trying to make sure the food, setup, timing, and overall experience come together the way you imagined. The team at Maison D made the entire process feel so much easier. They listened to what we wanted, communicated with us throughout the process, and were very accommodating when it came to the little details that mattered to us. The food was honestly one of the highlights of the event. Everything tasted fresh, was seasoned really well, and the presentation was beautiful. Our guests kept talking about how good the food was, and several people even asked who catered the event. The portions were great, everything came out looking professional, and you could tell that they actually take pride in what they serve. What impressed me just as much as the food was the service. The staff was friendly, respectful, attentive, and professional without making things feel stiff or overly formal. They made sure our guests were taken care of and handled things behind the scenes without us having to constantly check in or worry about what was happening next. That allowed us to actually enjoy the event instead of spending the entire time trying to manage everything. “We called Chef Anna “the Zen Chef” because she radiated calm and warmth every time she cooked or dropped off meals. On our wedding day, she was the one vendor who was fully calm, centered, and confident, an incredibly grounding presence for everyone. We had six meals with her, from the welcome dinner to brunches, reception, and an unforgettable late-night spread. She handled everything; shopping, cooking, cleanup and made us feel deeply cared for as a family during our long wedding weekend on Figure Eight Island, NC. Aside from cooking, which she obviously loves, she said her favorite part of her business is helping people make the most of their time together, and that was absolutely true for us. It felt like we bought the gift of time, which is priceless. And we can’t stop talking about the food. Literally better than any restaurant, truly.
