We loved that they were foodies and wanting us to cater the entire day. We done brunch for the bridal party, cocktail hour, dinner and late-night snacks. Brunch was bacon and sausage, chicken and waffles, peach cobbler french toast and fruit and yogurt parfaits. Cocktail hour was a Queso Fountain and Salsa Bar, Dinner a Taco Bar and Late-Night Snacks were Pretzels and Beer Cheese, Buffalo Chicken Dip, Mozzarella Sticks, Lemon Pepper Boneless Wings.

    Chaotic and Unorganized

    I am not one to write reviews and I swear I’m not a difficult person. I’m just trying to warn fellow couples. Do not schedule this group. You will be stressed out and questioning quality and professionalism if you book them. They are far too chaotic and unorganized. At the end of the day they’re cheap, but this is the reason why. I promise you will be stressed whether or not he’ll show up with the right food, right dinnerware, or even show up at all. First off, when I initially reached out on Zola for a tasting of their pasta, I was ghosted for days and had to call several times just to schedule something. When we finally set one up, the owner canceled last minute. We rescheduled, and this dude shows up with tacos instead of the pasta we discussed. Not kidding, completely wrong food. He apologized and gave it to us for free, but seriously, you had one job and that’s just about the worst mistake you could possibly make being a wedding caterer Not to mention, he forgot about the other like 4 things we discussed purchasing from him. After rescheduling a third time, he canceled just 15 minutes before we were supposed to meet. I tried to call to get an answer as to why and I’ve been ghosted. I’m genuinely not trying to hate, but they are extremely unprofessional. Their methods of communication, scheduling, and ordering are unorganized and chaotic. I genuinely have zero confidence in their ability to execute anyone’s wedding day. And I highly doubt I’m the only one to have issues with these guys, I guarantee several couples that have tried booking them have had a lot of issues. They’ve probably messed up a lot of weddings and caused a lot of undue stress. Please consider other caterers, even if it’s slightly more expensive. There are far more reliable options out there. In 20 years, you won’t remember how cheap your catering was, what you will remember is them forgetting the date of your wedding or bringing tacos instead of pasta

    Southern Fig Events was a fantastic choice for our wedding catering. They were very easy to communicate with throughout the planning process, always responding promptly to our questions and requests. On the day of the wedding, their team worked quickly and was flexible to move the food service indoors when the weather took a turn. Most importantly, the food they served was absolutely amazing - our guests raved about the delicious menu and generous portions. We're so grateful to Southern Fig Events for helping make our special day a success!

    HIRE THEM!!!

    We hired Southern Fig Events for our September wedding and WOW, they absolutely nailed it! From our rehearsal breakfast to the appetizers and dinner, every single dish was incredible. Throughout the night, so many guests came up to tell us how amazing the food was. The team was not only talented but also kind and helpful every step of the way. My favorite part was that they cooked alongside their family, which brought such a special element of love and warmth that you could truly taste in the food. Thank you Craig and Rachel so much for making our night unforgettable!

    Good People and Great Food

    Craig and Rachel at the I Don’t Care Kitchen are amazing people! The food was fabulous and got a ton of compliments from all our guests! The desserts were gorgeous and delicious we had to fight our family to be able to take some home with us! I would gladly recommend using them for any special occasion!

    A BBQ Feast to Remember!

    We are so happy we chose I Don’t Care Kitchen for our wedding! They provided an incredible buffet-style BBQ spread that our guests are still raving about. Everything—from the smoked meats to the sides—was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked. The team was professional, friendly, and worked so smoothly behind the scenes. They set up everything beautifully, kept the buffet running efficiently, and made sure everyone had plenty to eat (and go back for seconds!).
