Hi, I’m Heather. I fell in love with the art of pottery in 2015 when I signed up for a class at a local studio. I was just looking for a hobby to keep me busy after work, but I ended up developing an obsession. Something about sitting at the wheel and finding my center felt natural to me. Fast forward 9 years, and now I have a fully functional home studio, I sell my work, and I teach other aspiring potters.

Maya Moves was created for couples who want to feel confident on the dance floor without committing to multiple lessons. The private one-hour session begins by reviewing your wedding details and song. Your dance is kept short (about 1:30–2 minutes) so it feels natural and easy to remember. You’ll learn how to stand comfortably together and 3–4 signature moves (a dip, a spin, and moments that fit your song’s vibe). No traditional ballroom steps, just modern, natural movement that looks effortless. You record videos at the end to help when practicing. Maya Moves offers private wedding dance lessons in NYC and over Zoom.
