Founded by friends Chris and Tyler – two good friends who met while studying at the University of Michigan’s School of Music – Ringback Memories began when Chris’s sister wanted an authentic, affordable audio guestbook for her wedding. We believe saving heartfelt messages, laughter, and voices shouldn't cost a fortune. That’s Ringback Memories.

Our phones are 100% original vintage from the 1940s-80s with modern tech to capture podcast-quality recordings of your favorite people—from grandparents to rowdy friends. Memories are preserved forever via digital download, a heart-shaped USB, and a custom vinyl record made by our audio team. We meticulously edit the recordings after each event, removing music & background noise. And, we do not overbook events on our calendar. Our team maintains a fast turnaround time so that you are not waiting months to receive your special memories.

Absolutely! We will reach out a month before your event with instructions on how to submit your custom greeting that your guests will hear when they lift up the phone.
We're so excited to be part of your special day! Your vintage audio guestbook will arrive at least three days before your event.
Setting up is a breeze! Your audio guestbook package will include step-by-step instructions. All you have to do is plug it into the provided battery and start recording!
We're proud to feature leading audio technology in our phones! While the podcast-quality microphones are amazing, our audio engineering team will listen to each of your recordings to remove any background noise. There is no time limit to the recordings, so there will be no problems for sentimental relatives..... or drunk friends.
You will receive a digital download link of your recordings within one week of us receiving the phone. Our audio team is ready to get to work and can't wait to hear about your special day! Please allow for additional time for the custom vinyl record and heart-shaped USB stick.
We hope you loved your audio guestbook! In your package, we provide a return label and return tape to seal the box. Simply place the items (audio guestbook, framed directions, battery) in the box, seal it up, and return it to UPS.
