“My husband and I were so lucky to be able to work with Jeff as our DJ. He is so professional and organized, which we really appreciated since we were planning our own wedding. He was always so willing to help out with anything. He also did a great job of keeping the energy up for the whole night at our wedding. The dance floor was packed the entire time and so many of of guests pointed out how much they enjoyed our DJ specifically. One thing Jeff did that we really appreciated was he made recorded announcements to play to remind people of things like staying after for family photos and for our unplugged ceremony. 10/10, would book JBK entertainment again.”

As a result, we knew that we really wanted someone who was going to show our guests a good time, and Chris DID NOT DISAPPOINT! He absolutely blew us away and enthralled our guests with his selections and mixes. We had family and friends on the dance floor from start to finish, and the music perfectly blended both of our unique musical tastes. Music aside, Chris was also incredibly polite and accommodating. We had to make some last minute changes to the introductions and Chris made it happen without a hitch. “Mike was the perfect DJ for our wedding! He was great to work with throughout the process. During our preparation meeting he did a great job asking thoughtful questions to capture our vision. He timely communicated with us leading up to the event to ensure a great flow of events. During our wedding he perfectly captured our vibe. The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! I watched Video Soul on BET and of course I was a MTV kid like any good 80's baby. I became the resident DJ for 78th Street Studios "Third Friday Art Walk", courtesy of Northcoast Promotions in 2022. I infuse sets that varies in genre, style & eras. I strive to provide a set that is enjoyable for all ages.
