“We could not recommend a better DJ for our wedding! We got married April 5, 2024 (so sorry for the delayed review!) and Matt was so helpful from day one of talking with him. We live in FL and he’s in Missouri, where we had our wedding and he was always quick to answer my emails and I never felt like all of my questions were ever bothering him. Matt met with us a few times to go over the songs, lights, expectations, and organization of how the songs fit into the sequence of our special day. He made the process so easy and made himself available to meet in the timeframes that we able to fly home and at a place that was convenient. Since he helped reduce stress in the beginning planning stages and he’s so personable, I knew he would be a great fit for our wedding! And… he was a wonderful DJ! The music was perfect, he didn’t play anything that we didn’t want to hear and everything that everyone loved! We picked out most of the songs we wanted during the evening and he played them without question, plus some perfect fitting songs that the guests would love! We are pretty picky people and Matt did a great job fulfilling the DJ role with our requests and making the night just absolutely lovely!!! There were no instances of equipment/technology failure, which is always a plus, he showed up early to set up and his pricing was better than other quotes I received. His voice was clear and professional, appearance was wedding appropriate, and execution of his DJ skills to make our night magical filled with great music and dancing was fantastic!!! “Jenna the dj kept the party hopping all night! She literally was so great in ensuring the guests were kept in the loop the entire night. The couple loved x files and she was made aware and went out of her way to play the x files theme song as a surprise for them. Also, there was an inside joke with a cardboard cutout of Danny Devito. When they did a couples dance she even joked about how if someone didn’t have a partner they could dance with Danny. She was very personable and even helped clear plates in her free time. In addition, there was an issue where the hired officiant didn’t show up on time. I called Live Events as a back up and the owner Dennis told me he was an hour and a half away at another wedding but would come immediately. He rushed to our aid even when I told him the other officiant finally showed up. He showed up ready to help in any way he could. This company is top notch in all they do. Professional, polite, friendly, fun and ready to exceed your expectations. The only mistake you could make on your wedding day would be not hiring them.”

Not only was he an amazing DJ who kept everyone on the dance floor all night, but he was also one of the most genuine and thoughtful people we’ve ever met. We had a special request for a unique entrance into our reception, and Dan completely nailed it. He went above and beyond to make it exactly how we imagined, and it turned out even better than we hoped. On top of that, we asked if he could include last names during the wedding party introductions—something he doesn’t normally do—and he took the time to learn and pronounce every single name correctly. That level of care and attention meant so much to us. He also made a real effort to connect with all of our guests and made sure everyone was well taken care of throughout the night. “I cannot say enough amazing things about Rachel! She was an absolute dream to work with! She was so warm and fun, a great listener, and a true professional. Rachel absolutely knocked it out of the park!! As a DOC: We didn't need much in terms of coordinating a lot of moving parts for our day and we already booked all our vendors and had our planning essentially done. We just wanted someone to take care of the set up/tear down at the venue and be the main point of contact for the vendors that wasn't me (the bride) as well as make sure everything was running on schedule on the wedding day. We had out first meeting with Rachel about two months before the wedding and she took us through a very thorough check list of all the things that she would need to take care of and what the day would look like. Once we passed on all the vendor info and planning details to Rachel, the stress of the big day eased up so much! We felt like we were in such great hands with Rachel the whole time leading up to the wedding day. On the actual big day, she took charge of all the set up with the venue, catering, photobooth, decor, cake, and florist. She made sure I didn't have to think about anything leading up to the ceremony and throughout the reception. Afterwards, she packed up all the flowers, decor, and anything else that we needed to take home while my husband and I talked to guests at the end of the reception so by the time we were done, everything was ready to go for us. So if you are maybe considering tacking on her DOC services, DO IT! As a DJ: Rachel really knows her stuff when it comes to music! She has so much experience and it definitely showed during our DJ planning meeting with her. She was so open and flexible in what we wanted to do and the certain songs we wanted to be played. She wanted to know the overall atmosphere for each section of the wedding so she could curate the perfect soundtrack for the day. She successfully delivered the main thing I wanted at my wedding - a fun dance floor! She had everyone up on their feet and played all the songs we wanted to hear as well as making sure to play other songs that kept people on the dance floor. “There is no better DJ than DJ Martin. He had us fill out a questionnaire that helped guide us through planning our entire wedding day and ultimately the absolute BEST PARTY ever! I have never seen so many people on a dance floor as I did at our wedding reception. Instead of a head table, we put the DJ façade on the stage where the head tables would have been so that he was the center of attention. Ultimately, it was the best decision. At one point, he got on the floor himself during the reception to teach everyone the steps to a song. He was incredibly professional and fun to work with.
