We didn't know him before and didn't end up doing an engagement shoot (so I was a little nervous) but he absolutely nailed it. His photos are stunning (I've gotten a TON of compliments on them), he is extremely communicative, and he had a bunch of photos ready to go by the end of the wedding. “We were so glad Lily was available for our florals - what immediately stood out from our first call was that she cared about matching our vision, was aligned with our values (we loved that the flowers would be locally sourced), and was willing to share tips even at her expense (for example, she encouraged us to reach out directly to a vendor to rent large plants if we wanted to include them; she was transparent that she could on our behalf but that we could save the "middleman" fee if we preferred!). She worked with our budget and helped us explore options that would be the right balance of vision & cost. We also really appreciated that she created a vision board to allow us to see what she had in mind before we signed our contract. And day of, our florals were everything we wanted! I was in love with my bouquet, and we had guests comment on how beautiful the flowers were at both our ceremony and reception. “I had been planning my wedding in such a particular way when it came to the music because I have always played instruments and often was the source of unique new music for my friends. Any time I got in my car throughout the planning process, I would play down my playlist and daydream about how my wedding day would *sound*. Tyler and I always have music playing while we eat dinner at home. Michael played right off of my list all through cocktail hour and dinner, making my daydreams come true. My guests told me after that they could tell the music was precisely our taste during cocktail hour, and it was such a special time when Tyler and I finally got to eat, our songs were on and it felt like "at home" with Hozier on in the background. Michael did an amazing job reading the room on which songs to play, and was an "active DJ" in that he mixed songs instead of just playing songs straight through from beginning to end. The crowd work was great. Tyler and I had never been to a wedding where there was a crowd person and therefore did not know what to expect at all with that. We were even a little nervous that it could feel cheesy. Michael was perfect!! He kept the energy up and got a room full of people we knew were "non-dancers" on the floor. Perfect balance of slow songs, line dances and he played nothing that I could have thought of as "I wish that song didn't come on." One of my guests requested something weird, totally cleared the dance floor, and Michael saw that so quickly and fixed it right up with a quick Ed Sheeran and the floor was packed. The photo booth was a hit and was set up just as I imagined it! Thank you thank you for making our day absolutely perfect.”

“I could not have asked for a better photographer in any respect. Maya is extremely communicative, warm, welcoming, and excellent at what they do. I was incredibly nervous selecting a photographer because I had no idea what I was doing. During my first meeting with Maya, they put me completely at ease and walked me through the process, their photography philosophy, figured out what my spouse and I would/wouldn’t like in our photos, and even helped us get a sense of how our day’s timeline would go. Since we planned the entire wedding ourselves, their help even from this first meeting was invaluable. Maya and their partner the day-of were an absolute blast to have at the event. Even the usual stiff family formal photos felt fun and organic with their guidance, and they were always up for impromptu shots and suggestions. They make sure that their work is organic, dynamic, and really captures the essence of the couple’s relationship. I asked them to use my Polaroid alongside their professional gear and they were really enthusiastic about the prospect, so now I have a set of excellent Polaroids in addition to their amazing high definition work. My spouse and I will absolutely be going back to Maya in the future for more photography. Some advice: Don’t waste your time shopping around with other photographers. If you’ve found Maya, you’ve found the perfect wedding photographer.”

“Nas was absolutely phenomenal!! We just loved working with her on our wedding day. From the first phone interview, she was professional, courteous, and really wanted to get a feel for our vision of the day. At the wedding, she remained unobtrusive while still managing to capture every memorable detail—we never felt uncomfortable about the camera being there and it all felt very organic. She had an amazingly quick turnaround on the pictures, and we got a sneak peak then received our full gallery before the estimated 30 days! I was extremely satisfied with the number and quality of the pictures: they were true to life and any color editing enhanced, rather than altered, the photos. She did a fantastic job of helping us pose while making the photos look effortless and candid. For the quality, time, effort, and product, I would say that the price we paid was MORE than reasonable. Even my husband, who is very frugal and not big on taking/ looking at pictures, said "wow, this was really worth the money" when we saw the gallery. Without any prompting! To anyone getting married and looking for a photographer, I could not recommend Nas enough!! “Pittsburgh Glam Team was awesome! From the moment they arrived, the vibes were calm, fun, and stress-free — exactly what you want on a wedding morning. It felt like being pampered by talented friends who had everything under control. Jordan is truly the up-do queen. At my trial, the updo she created survived walking around outside in a windy rainstorm, which honestly says it all. It was intricate, secure, and beautiful. On the wedding day, when I mentioned wanting it slightly higher, she immediately said she had been thinking the same thing — and adapted it flawlessly. My hair lasted nearly all night, which is no small feat considering it’s down past my hips. Every single person in my bridal party had a style that was tailored to flatter them individually, and timing was smooth and effortless. Jordan is also incredibly kind, funny, and just genuinely great to be around. Temia did a fantastic job understanding my vision, which lived somewhere between snow queen, Old Hollywood glam, and a touch of 2016 energy — not exactly a simple ask. She made the process feel relaxed and fun, and the final look photographed beautifully, especially for my bridesmaids and the mothers, who all looked absolutely phenomenal. I’m very fair and cool-toned (which can be tricky), and Temia was great about adapting where needed — for example, correcting contour on the wedding day based on feedback from the trial. My makeup held up well overall, with the exception of lipstick (definitely bring a backup and some makeup wipes for touchups — which is good advice no matter who you book!). The morning-of energy was chill, organized, and genuinely enjoyable. We felt completely taken care of, and nothing ever felt rushed or stressful. If you’re looking for a hair and makeup team that brings talent, flexibility, great energy, and a calm presence to your wedding day, Pittsburgh Glam Team — especially Jordan and Temia — are a great choice”

“We had our wedding at Over Eden at the TRYP Hotel in May 2025, and it was perfect! Over Eden is a beautiful venue that speaks for itself. The rooftop space allows so much light, and the decor requires little decoration to make the space feel special. We chose to have our ceremony on the outdoor patio, come inside for dinner, and then have dancing on the outdoor patio, and it worked perfectly. The food was also delicious! We chose a plated dinner, and we had options of filet, chicken, or salmon for our guests. Everyone loved their meals! Stephanie, their event manager, was the best part of booking Over Eden as our wedding venue. We didn't have a wedding planner, and she really made everything run smoothly and took all the stress off of us during planning and the big day! Stephanie helped with everything, from decorating and coordinating with us to simply checking in with us throughout the day to see how we were feeling; She truly made the day perfect! If I could do it again, I would choose Over Eden every time!”

“Their communication style was poor, often accusatory and defensive when we tried to clarify details with Kelley. However, the value was great - they allowed our pup to be part of the ceremony, which was a special touch. But we had to get any promises from the coordinator, Kelley, in writing, as many things that were "included" in our initial meeting ended up costing extra. Overall, the lack of transparency and professionalism made planning more stressful than needed but overall the day went very well the ceremony was beautiful and the reception was a blast.”

“Wee Weddings comes highly recommended. I am a professional photographer who has owned his own commercial business for over 15 years and have shot hundreds of weddings. When I was asked to associate shoot for Wee Weddings, I didn't hesitate. The concept of providing a service that can handle the smallest need of a client is somewhat rare. Most businesses shoot for larger packages that can intimidate a client in a smaller situation. This business handles a variety of event sizes and provides the same (if not better) level of care and attention to detail as one that is geared towards 12+ hours of coverage and several hundred people. I very much enjoyed the intimacy of the ceremony I captured and the edits of what I shot were very well done. Wee Weddings is a fantastic option for anyone who doesn't want to sacrifice quality for their special day. I look forward to shooting for them again!”
