Bramble & Blossom is a Pittsburgh wedding floral design studio creating artful, seasonal flowers for celebrations throughout Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania. Our style is natural, garden-inspired and a little wild around the edges, with abundant seasonal flowers, unexpected color combinations and beautiful movement. Owner and lead designer Jessica Stewart has been designing wedding flowers since 2011. We offer both Full-Service Wedding Floral Design and À La Carte Wedding Flowers, giving couples two ways to bring the Bramble & Blossom style to their celebration.

Sustainability has shaped our work for more than a decade. We design exclusively with American-grown flowers, sourcing locally from Pennsylvania flower farms whenever the season allows. Our designs are foam-free, we prioritize reusable mechanics and materials, compost floral waste and donate flowers whenever possible. We also intentionally accept only one wedding per day, giving each celebration our full attention. Bramble & Blossom is queer- and woman-owned, and we warmly welcome LGBTQ+ couples and celebrations of every kind.

Ideal for couples prioritizing beautiful personal flowers, ceremony details and reception flowers without large-scale installations.     Unforgettable Flowers, Excellent Experience

    We were so lucky to have Bramble & Blossom supplying the arrangements for our wedding day at the National Aviary. From the attention to detail during planning, to the in-person delivery of flowers to the wedding party day-of and the quick setting up of spectacular displays, they really knocked it out of the park. The sunflower piece above the fireplace was breathtaking. They also offered us options for re-use of the flowers after the event, which was awesome.

    Bramble and Blossom

    Jess and the team at Bramble and Blossom were great! We wanted pretty simple flowers (just bouquets) and Jess was totally down for that and didn't try to upsell us. She also came super prepared with inspiration boards from our very first meeting. Everyone loved our flowers!

    Best Florist in Pittsburgh

    Jessica and her team truly made my wedding magical. Sustainability and ethical sourcing were a priority for us and Jessica provided all US grown flowers. She even sourced vegetables from local farmers to use in the tablescapes that we and our guests took home and has meals made from them for the next couple of weeks! But the real magic was the colors she picked out. I wanted a very colorful, jewel toned world at my wedding and Jessica found flowers that both matched that aesthetic and complimented the whole medieval vibe of the theme. Her team also showed amazing flexibility when our ceremony location was changed at the last minute due to rain. Instead of decorating an archway they were decorating a completely different space with pillars, but they made it work and everything was ready on time. I’ve loved Jessica’s work so much that I’ve gone on to order flowers for other occasions. She did the flowers for my daughter’s first birthday which was Enchanted Forest themed and most recently my husband picked up a Valentine’s Day arrangement from her shop. All of the flowers and arrangements have been top quality and beyond beautiful. Jessica is easy to work with, friendly, and knowledgeable. You really can’t go wrong with Bramble and Blossom.

    Gorgeous flowers and awesome team to work with!

    Working with Jessica and the Bramble & Blossom team was such a great experience. From our first conversation, Jessica understood our vision even better than we did. We started out with the "no fuss" package and ended up changing to the "full service" option, which was a wonderful decision.     PERFECT Wedding Flowers

    Planning a wedding involves so many decisions, but choosing Bramble and Blossom for our flowers was by far the easiest one to make. I’ve admired Jessica’s extensive experience and keen attention to detail for years, and she created absolute perfection for our traditional Christian wedding. Our ceremony was designed to feel grand and timeless—like a royal wedding—with a full choir, a pipe organ, and traditional hymns filling the space. Bramble and Blossom’s stunning floral arrangements elevated the entire atmosphere, adding a sense of romance, elegance, and grandeur that perfectly complemented the setting. I’m obsessed with peonies, and she made them the star of my bouquet, paired with delicate ranunculus, soft astilbe, and striking anemones. The arrangements had a depth and texture that felt both classic and unique, and my bridal party’s flowers were equally breathtaking. Every bouquet, boutonniere, and corsage was personalized and cohesive, adding sophistication to the wedding party’s look. What truly stood out to us was Bramble and Blossom’s commitment to using local and sustainable flowers. Supporting those values was incredibly important to us, and knowing that our arrangements reflected that made them even more special. Despite the heat and humidity of our Memorial Day wedding, the flowers held up beautifully all day, looking fresh and vibrant from start to finish. Guests couldn’t stop commenting on how exquisite the flowers were, and they absolutely shine in all our wedding photos. In the midst of the chaos of wedding planning, working with Bramble and Blossom was a DREAM. For Full-Service Wedding Floral Design, our May–October Saturday and Sunday weddings have a $5,000 floral minimum. Holiday weekends, including Fridays, have an $8,000 minimum. From November through April, Full Service has no minimum. À La Carte Wedding Flowers are available year-round with no order minimum and are a great option for couples who don’t need on-site installation and teardown.
Yes. Full-Service Wedding Floral Design includes delivery, on-site installation and styling, and post-event teardown. We can also transfer or repurpose floral designs from the ceremony to the reception when the timeline and design allow. After the celebration, we compost floral waste and donate flowers whenever possible. À La Carte orders do not include setup or teardown.
Yes! Full-Service clients have access to our rental collection, including ceremony structures, vessels, bud vases, candleholders and other decorative pieces used in our designs. Rentals are incorporated into your overall floral plan so everything feels cohesive. À La Carte orders do not include access to our rental collection.
It’s never too early to inquire, especially if you’re planning a Saturday wedding during our busiest May–October season. We intentionally accept only one wedding per day, so popular dates can book well in advance. You don’t need every floral detail figured out before contacting us. Your wedding date, venue, approximate guest count, general floral priorities and budget are plenty to get the conversation started.
We design weddings throughout Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania, including celebrations in the Laurel Highlands and surrounding areas. Full-Service Wedding Floral Design includes delivery as part of the overall service and logistics proposal. À La Carte orders may be picked up from our studio, or delivery can be added for an additional fee based on location and order size.
Every season brings something different. Spring may bring tulips, narcissus, peonies and flowering branches; summer offers an incredible abundance of locally grown flowers; and autumn brings dahlias, grasses, textural ingredients and richly colored foliage. Exact availability changes from week to week and year to year, which is part of the beauty of seasonal design. We’ll use your color palette and overall floral vision to select the best American-grown flowers available for your date.
We design exclusively with American-grown flowers. During Pennsylvania’s growing season, we source locally from flower farms whenever possible; throughout the rest of the year, we work with trusted American growers around the country. Working seasonally means we design around the most beautiful flowers available for your wedding rather than promising specific imported varieties year-round.
Full Service is for couples who want a completely customized floral plan along with wedding-day delivery, installation, styling, rentals and teardown. À La Carte is a simpler option for couples who need individual floral pieces without on-site setup or teardown. You choose your color palette and the pieces you need, and we select the best seasonal American-grown flowers available to create them in the Bramble & Blossom style.
Not at all. That’s why you’re hiring a designer. You’re welcome to arrive with a detailed Pinterest board and very specific ideas, or you can tell us your colors, venue, how you want the wedding to feel and what you absolutely don’t want. Both are workable. We’ll help translate your priorities and inspiration into a floral direction that makes sense for your wedding, season and budget.
We can design thoughtfully within many budgets, but the size and complexity of the floral plan need to correspond with the resources available. Rather than spreading a small amount of flowers everywhere, we’ll help identify where your budget can make the most meaningful visual impact. Sometimes keeping personal flowers simple or concentrating flowers in one beautiful ceremony moment creates a much stronger design.
No. We’ve been designing without traditional floral foam for many years. Instead, we use an evolving collection of reusable and lower-waste mechanics appropriate to each design. Foam-free floral design is one part of our broader approach to sustainable floristry, along with American-grown sourcing, reusable materials, composting and flower donation whenever possible.
