A variety band playing Jazz, Blues, R&B, Party Classics, and New Orleans style jazz for weddings across Pittsburgh, Eastern Ohio, and the Ohio Valley. We cover the ceremony, move into cocktail hour, pull it back for dinner, then bring it all the way up for the reception. Matt has performed for Fortune 500 companies and shared the stage with The Impressions and Little Anthony. Best of The Bash 2021. He works with every couple personally and keeps the whole process flexible and easy.

Nobody else in Pittsburgh brings a genuine New Orleans brass band experience to your wedding. When the moment is right — parasols come out, handkerchiefs go up, and a brass band leads your guests parading through the room like it's Bourbon Street. Phones come out. People who weren't planning to dance are suddenly marching. It's the moment nobody forgets. The variety keeps every generation on the floor — Jazz, Blues, R&B, soul, funk, and Party Classics.     We LOVE Matt Hill!

    We booked HireJazzBands.com for our wedding and couldn't have been happier with our choice. Both. Your guests hear live music from the moment the ceremony starts. The trio plays through cocktails while everyone is relaxed and catching up. Then more musicians step in as the night builds. You don't need to hire separate acts for each part of the day — one band covers the whole evening and the music never stops.
We love requests. Send us your must-play list ahead of time and we'll make sure those songs are in the set. On the night of, we'll do our best with requests from guests if it's something we know. No band knows every song ever written, but we know a lot of them.
We dress to match your event. Suits and ties for a ballroom reception. Vests and dress shirts for a garden wedding. You'll never look at the band and feel like they don't belong in the room.
We arrive at least two hours before your guests do. Everything is set up, sound checked, and ready before anyone walks in. You'll never see a cable being run or a speaker being moved while your guests are arriving.
It depends on the distance and the venue. Every quote we send is all-inclusive — musicians, sound, and travel in one number. No surprise fees at the end of the night.
