You are probably assuming my about me section will have a story about how I always wanted to be a photographer, I came out of the womb holding a camera, but that couldn’t be me. I stumbled into it, literally. I had no plans to become a wedding photographer. I was either going to follow my dad’s path and go to dental school, or become a social worker. But a freshman in college decided to shoot a few photos for fun, and now over eight years and almost 200 weddings later, I could not imagine myself doing anything else. This is my dream job!

Hi! I'm Nicole Murphy and I'm the lead photographer of The Murphys. I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph engagement sessions and weddings in 13 different states. Throughout the years I’ve documented intimate elopement ceremonies and weddings with over 250 guests. As an artist I crave a real connection with my couples. I look for couples who are truly in love and are willing to put their trust in my vision. My photographs are often described as warm, natural, romantic, and timeless. My goal is to create photographs that show your personality and will look beautiful throughout your lifetime. I can’t wait to hear all about your love story!

Photography is my absolute passion and it shines through my images when I capture them. I live for the authentic moments... the raw emotions of the day. The tears that fall during a first look, the last hug with your parents before you walk down the aisle, and the ear to ear smiles once you've said "I Do". Those are the moments I promise to capture! I'm a portrait and wedding photographer currently based in Defiance, Ohio. All of my couples have entrusted me to photograph their wedding and capture the memories that will remind them of their wedding day forever. P.Taufiq Photography is the creation of artist and award-winning photographer, Pervez Taufiq. Pervez has a love and passion for photography that has exponentially blossomed over the last 10 years. As the lead singer for Boston based band Living Syndication, he was used to being on the other side of the lens but was always fascinated with how and what made a picture or video speak to the viewer.
