hi, i’m courtney! over the past decade, i’ve perfected the art of being a wallflower while still being able to capture the details needed to complete a story. graduating from ucf with an art degree, it’s pretty easy to say i’m an artist at heart. i’m quiet, observant, empathetic, and one would say i'm the calming aura in the room (my mom… my mom says this lol). these traits have always carried over into my photography, but i could never categorize them properly, until now. as a documentary-style photographer, my job is to be me; observational, honest, authentic, and calming, while curating and composing your unique story into two dimensions.

I started my photography business having a passion for capturing pure emotions and real life moments. I love capturing the essence of people, love and the characteristics that define them both. Being able to visualize a bond between people and bring that to life through a photo is what I set out to do, no matter what moment I am capturing!

I'm Meagan. My husband and I were teachers, but at some point we picked up a camera, and everything changed. We have a rescue dog named Sadie that's basically our child. Our perfect day includes iced vanilla lattes at a local coffee shop, hitting up a couple of thrift stores, and reading on the couch with a christmas candle lit and burritos in hand.
